Alpha Septic Tank Corp

Stay clear of Alpha Septic and the litany of excuses they come up with as to why they're late or don't get back to you or why what they installed is not working properly. Scott and his family are very nice people but their customer service is completely tone deaf and down right horrid. We put a down payment of $5750 that they kept without installing our septic system for more than FIVE MONTHS. Yes, 5 flippin' months plus. Then when they come to finally install the system, they're ill prepared. What septic company comes to dig in sand/sediment without a trench box or the like? You do this for a living and act as if this is something new in Rio Rancho or ABQ. The owner then says he'll now have to install a $2K lift station. He had more than 5 months to come up with a plan. No trench box? Come out early and let the sediment dry out so that the hole where the tanks needs to go would be more stable. It's not rocket science. All of the PVC piping they installed is out of plum and looks sloppy at best. I could go on an on as to why to avoid this company but just know our experience was an absolute train wreck. To top it all off we now have a blower motor that has a constant high pitched noise that Scott refuses to fix. He sends his kid son out to look at it and give us lame excuses as to why it's making that noise. Unreal.

The actual installation was fine, however, after rain, a sinkhole appeared around the tank. I contacted them, and after 2-3 weeks someone came out to look at it. He claimed it was due to water erosion flowing by, but had said they would come back in a week and they would fill the soil & add to the risers to bring the level up to the height of the yard. BUT they never responded, never came out or anything. I called another company who responded and took care of all the work at a very low & reasonable cost. Everything is running smoothly now, but I would not recommend Alpha since they don't warranty their work.
