If he can take advantage of you HE WILL! He took my money and never came back to finish the job. Overcharged me by A TON then went MIA and blocked my number. His guys also did not do a good job. Make sure you do your homework, DO NOT PAY HIM CASH LIKE HE ASKS. HAVE A SIGNED CONTRACT AND DO NOT PAY HIM ANY MONEY UNTIL IT'S ALL FINISHED. He is a horrible person who intently took my money and ran. Another scum bag contractor. I will be taking further action on him.

He was very good. He was prompt and clean.

He worked efficiently and had reasonable rates. He was very, very good. I was pleasantly surprised. He was here on time and had the work completed in less than 45 minutes.

He was very good. I just gave him general instructions and he really surpassed my expectations.

The contractor provided temporary support for the porch roof and removed a portion of the concrete slab at the base of the post. He then installed new metal hardware at the base and top and installed the new treated 4x4 post. A new 12x12 inch concrete slab was installed to complete the project. .

Electrician showed up at appointed time. Did excellent work. He was friendly and professional. Will use him again if the need arises.

Sam is wonderful to work with. He calls when he says he will, shows up on time, and his work is great. He always kept me updated by phone on the status of the material order for my job. He actually gave me a couple of options when he came out to give me an estimate. I would not hesitate to hire him again. He's a very nice, honest man, something that I've found as a single female homeowner isn't always easy to find. Hire him, you won't be sorry.

I needed the door fixed right away so that I could close and lock my door. He agreed to show up on a Sunday morning to do the work. He charged a fair price and it was clear that he knew what he was doing.

I called Sam and we scheduled a time (Sat. am) for him to look at the job and give us his thoughts. He told us he would take the doors down and take them to be used as templates for milling new ones (sold doors rather than hollow pre-cut). This would allow us to reuse the hardware and make them install and fit easier. We agreed and he took measurements for an estimate from the door place. He also offered some advice on how to prepare and some unrelated questions about our front door. On Monday he called with his estimate and we gave the go ahead. Then on Thursday he came and removed the doors and labeled the old hardware in a couple of hours. He also left an itemized proposal with estimate. Friday he called and told us the doors would be ready and we scheduled the next Monday to install. His suggestion to soak the hinges in lemon juice worked perfectly and I was able to scrub 2-4 layers of paint off of them. Monday at about 9am, Sam and his assistant arrived and work on the doors until about 1 or 2. When I came home the doors were up and looking good. This weekend I will be staining them. Sam was punctual, clean, helpful and very pleasant to work with.

He was very helpful in getting us on track. He didn't charge me a thing. He is very professional and I would highly recommend him. If I ever need anything done I will call him.

Sam Ponce is a trustworthy contractor who knows what he's doing, and he shows up. In fact, I recently called him in the morning after my roof "more than sprung a leak" -- (it was more like a water feature installation) during a downpour (literally, in my house!.) He came over within 2 hours of my call (on a Saturday) to check out the damage. Turns out my gutters were clogged (that's embarrassing). Being the conscientious person he is though, he wouldn't accept payment. He really takes care of his clients. In addition to handyman work, Sam is a licensed general contractor and is capable of complex renovations.
