"Thank you [Member Name Removed] and family, it was a pleasure to work for you at your beautiful home. The view while cutting tile and being at your home was amazing and surreal. We look forward to working on your kitchen and seeing you again. We certainly couldn't have ask for anything more from a client. Things could have not run more smoothly without your help and choice in products. I personally am very happy with the over all project and how things came together. Working on your bathroom and getting to know you is one of the reasons I aspired to go into business for myself. We thank you for putting your trust in us to supply a superior product and life long backed remodel into your home. Thanks again from All American and myself"
"Thank you for your feedback [Removed Member Name], Your job was bid out as a normal ceramic tile install, after the pricing was given and contract signed you gave me a list of tile wanted (all glass tub surround). Which is not priced at our normal install rate with the vested time and intricate work. My remarks about your job being challenging were not meant as complaints. We enjoy complicated jobs. Painting was not included in our contract and was assured several times it would be done in house. As for what seems to be a personal libel attack on me and my behavior. I apologize if anything was taken out of context and wish it could have been addressed before the end of the job so it could be corrected. Yes, I will admit I was wrong for accepting beers from you after work. I should have never answered any personal questions you asked about my daughters hearing loss and treatment. Everyone in your home was treated with the up most respect. One thing I will agree with is my voice carries. So for me to have made your job a success without full control of the remodel, I would have expected nothing less than a thank you."
If I had it to do over again, I would have taken more time with the design process and placed the refrigerator differently. As it is, it crowds the corner unit meaning the counter top can't be used for food preparation and is a dark space. On the opposite end where I originally wanted it moved, the refrigerator would have jutted out slightly, but I think it would have worked better. Hindsight is always 20/20.
I also neglected to ask more questions about the cabinetry. That said, the cabinets are beautiful and I'm happy with my choice of design and color. I'm also glad Karl let me switch a pantry cabinet he thought I should have, for something else (more drawers).
Karl is a master craftsman with tile, honest and dependable, who hires excellent people with the same work ethic and desire for perfection. He's also arrogant and that won't suit everyone, but as someone who has been her own general contractor and had family in the business, I know he has earned the right to be proud of his ability. I also know if I need something, he'll be back.
He is a Certified Tile Installer, and he clearly talks the talk and walks the walk. He was very impressive to listen to. We are so grateful that we found him.
"Thank you for the kind words. We look forward to seeing you again."
