I paid because no warranty issue was required. They charged me one hour of service but clearly much more time was spent searching for a problem that was not there then searching out the proper operation.

After several sessions with the printer manufacture's technical support including configuration issues, the manufacture issued a warranty ticket to Albuquerque Image Products. They did the work as described above.
Based on their analysis, I was able to apply the proper software configuration and set up my system.
