They were TERRIBLE! The technician did show up on time for the initial consultation. He told my husband it needed a new motor, and he scheduled a return appointment. He installed the new motor, and it did not work. He then proceeded to tell my husband a support post in the garage needed to be moved. My husband told him to take the new stuff out and put it back the way it was. He tried to put it back to the way it was, and now it won't close all the way-stops about a foot from the bottom. And they tried to charge us $80. We hired someone else.
Description of Work: We just bought the home, and our contractor told us the garage door needed to be adjusted. We weren't really sure what the problem was.

These people wanted an estimate for their operator. The complaint was that the operator wouldn't close the door all the way. My technician was about 15 minutes early. When the homeowner met my tech he told my tech that he wanted the machine adjusted to close all the way. My tech told him that he could adjust it to close but that it wouldn't open all the way. My tech explained that the reason was whoever had built the garage had put a beam across the opening and then had had to cut the original electric operators rail to make the door open and close semi effectively and that even with a new machine it would still be the same thing. The customer still wanted to try a new machine. It was the same thing. We were told to remove the new machine and reinstall the old making sure that it worked properly. We do not reinstall old equipment but we reinstalled it anyway. As to making it work properly we said we would need to charge a service call for that. The customer was unhappy about that.

The bracket holding up the machine part of my garage door opener came loose dis-abling my garage door. They came out and fixed it BETTER than the original install! I have complete faith that I will have no further trouble.

Excellent!
Description of Work: Chris helped my neighbor to finish the instalment of a new garage door. He helped to install the electronic detector that is on the floor of the garage. [] Chris also adjusted the timing of the garage door as it closes and made the working of that unit run smoothly.

THE NEXT TIME I CALL IF I NEED THEM I WILL ASK IF THEY HAVE A PERSON WHO CAN SPEAK ENGLISH THOUGH. THAT WAS A BIT FRUSTRATING FOR ME. OVERALL THEY DID A GOOD JOB.
