Move had to be done on a very tight schedule and ABQ Discount Movers was able to get this done quickly. Movers were professional; office staff was also very helpful.

Highly recommend. The professionally dressed and polite moving crew arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently throughout the day. Not one minute of wasted time. They were careful both with my household goods and my home. When an unexpected event occurred (my storage unit was too small), they made the adjustment to move the truck and start unloading into a second unit (one I rented on the spot) without reservation or complaint. The owner/estimator who came to my home initially gave me great advice about how to prepare to make the move go as smoothly as possible and came well prepared for what I had. I was called the day before with a courtesy reminder about when they would arrive. It all added up to a great experience and value.

They showed up on time, were careful but fast. We were pleased once again with this moving company.

The slowest move ever. The movers were on time but took SO LONG to move a 1200 square foot condo at the end I was just telling them to leave it at the old place, knowing the clock was ticking. I moved a mile and a half. I have done this same move (less than 2 miles, 2 bedroom condo) 2 years ago with the cost of $300. This cost me $685---TWICE what I budgeted for. And to top it off, the movers that connected my washing machine did not do it correctly, resulting in a $116 plumbing bill when I had to call for a plumber. It was a horrible experience, and I urge everyone to go with someone else.

Very well, These guys were on time, efficient, polite and unloaded the contents from 2 big portable storage pods into my 2 story house. They knew how to put together beds, tables, couches.

We called Tina at Albuquerque Discount Movers, and she was amazing. I called at noon and she was able to have movers available to us by 2:00 p.m. Joe, CJ, and David did a phenomenal job of moving the two refrigerators, even disconnecting and reconnecting water hook-ups and removing a patio gate so the refrigerators would go through. They packed the refrigerators carefully so that they were fully protected. They were friendly, courteous, and professional. We were quite happy to have all of this work done in less than an hour. We have company arriving in two days, so it is a relief to have all refrigerators where they belong.

As well as it could. It was a difficult move in hot weather. Daniel was awesome

GREAT!!!! These men were gentlemen. Very respectful and conscientious of what they were doing and how they handled my furniture. They broke it down in one location and reassembled in the final destination. Awesome experience!

Awesome. Very easy to work with the crew from scheduling to finish. Did a great job would highly recommend to anyone moving locally. Loaded and unloaded 12 clothes boxes, household furniture, garage contents and office equipment.

Beginning with Tina who quoted the work and set up the appointment, to Dominic and Carlos who did the heavy lifting; it was such a good, professional experience. I have used another mover for a larger, in-town relocation, and they did a great job...but I would need to consider Albuquerque Discount movers if I do another move. The word Discount in their name doesn't mean they take shortcuts, they were careful to blanket items that needed it and were thoughtful of not scraping walls, fixtures, etc. as they moved items in and out of locations.

They were great - good communicators, hard working, and did a fantastic job getting everything to fit. Would hire again in a heartbeat.

We live in Socorro. There are no moving companies closer than Albuquerque. We hired ABQ Discount Movers after reading many excellent reviews here on Angie's List. They explained very clearly what the costs were expected to be - the travel fee for driving to and from Socorro, gas, and the rate per hour for three people all day. They called when leaving ABQ as agreed and arrived on time. All members of the moving team were professional and careful with our belongings. We have some rather large inherited furniture and an upright piano that was moved successfully without problems or damage. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs moving services.

Excellent professional and friendly service. The move was done within 4 hours, efficiently and carefully done. The 3 person crew made the move a stress free and pleasant experience. The job was very well done from start to finish.

The main reason I'm writing this review is because a fairly inexpensive cabinet was broken in the move by one of the movers. Discount movers immediately had it fixed and delivered back to me within a week. I've been told that no other movers would be so quick or happy to repair something that they broke. I was so pleasantly surprised. The guys did a great job and I would definitely hire again. Probably one of the best moving companies in the city!

I was quite pleased with these movers. The price was very good ($115/hour for 3 guys), and they worked quickly and efficiently. I would hire them again. And there was great communication from their office. No complaints.
