Attempted a simple VA streamline refinance. Started getting the run around immediately. They were not familiar with VA lending guidelines. Demanded fees and extra documentation up front. Telling me that their underwriter was demanding these extras. After paying for credit report and told that my credit was not good enough but with some extra $$ they could help me out...I cut off all ties with them.

In the first quarter of 2010 we decided to start the process of refinancing our home. We went to Accurate Mortgage and they started the process for us. During the document phase, our appraisal came back significantly lower than expected. Because of this we had to secure a secondary loan to cover the balance. Victoria found a lender who was able to do this loan very reasonably for us. When we closed on the loan we found that it saved us approx. $800.00/month and we saved tens of thousands of dollars in interest over the life of the loan. It was a win-win!

Everything went beautifully. From the time I spoke with Ms. Leyba on the phone to start things going to the final refinancing, I felt comfortable with her work. She is completely professional, efficient, and thorough. She plows through mounds of paperwork like it's nothing and misses nothing. Every t is crossed and every i dotted. She is easy to contact and makes sure you understand everything that is being done (which for me means a lot, since I don't speak legalese very well). In less than 3 weeks, my home was refinanced at a much lower interest rate and fewer years to pay. I'm completely pleased.
