The estimator Ray, arrived at my home on time to provide me an estimate. He explained, in a walk through, where he would cut the cement, explained to me the potential risk of additional cracks to the existing cement during the cutting process. He explained how they would level the ground and repour fresh cement that would dry quickly so I could use it again within a couple of days. He said that this was a common problem in this area and that he does these fixes a lot. I was provided a written estimate. His cost came in at 1/3rd the cost of another company who wanted to do more work than was necessary to fix the problem. I was initially told it would take 2 days. We scheduled a timeframe around my schedule when I could be home. A full crew and equipment arrived on time on the day scheduled. I was told then that they would try to get it done in 1 day. The crew worked ,the cement truck came and they were able to finish in one day. Some bad weather blew in right after the crew left resulting in damage to the fresh concrete and the cover was blown off. I called Ray and he brought the whole crew back within 30 minutes. They made the necessary repairs and resecured the cover. The driveway looks great and I have a smooth entry into the drive. I was very pleased with the quality of work and the professionalism of Ray and his crew.

went very well job completed in just two days and they stuck with the original estimate eventhough they incured more cost from the city inspection were they were instructed to purchase and install a fiberglass box around the water shutoff valve.

Contacted Ray for an estimate and discussed how his team would change the too steep slope of the dirveway. Ray's team arrived the following week on time, got to work, and completed all in two days. My neighbors commented on the professionalism of his team, and complemented the finished work. I chose not to drive on the driveway for at least a week, and since that thime I've been able drive low carriage vehicles up and down the driveway without bottoming out. They did a superb job!

I called Ray on Monday to give me a bid on installing a curb 12" X 10" X 39' long and also pour concrete into a 2' X 2' X 12' trench. The curb became necessary because the inspector instructed me that there had to be 18" distance between the dirt and first wood on the new construction project. I dug out the dirt as directed but discovered that there was 6" of exposed dirt under the existing stem wall. I talked to zoning and they advised me to pour a curb along the house to hold the dirt in place. The trench under the stem wall came about by the settling of the stem wall over the years. I dug the trenches and then jacked the stem wall up and then blocked the same to hold it in place. I decided to do both projects at the same time since each one required about a yard and one half of concrete. I needed the job completed in a hurry, so I gave the job to Ray and he told me the crew would be here on Wednesday. The crew showed up at 8 AM and they were pouring the concrete at 11 AM. They placed blankets over the new concrete and let it set for 8 days. They came back and removed the forms and blanket, carried off the remaining materials, and cleaned up the area. I could not have asked for a more speedy job.

I called Ray at 11:00 AM and told him that he had the job. His crew of four showed up on the job at 2:00 PM the same day and began digging. They completed the digging and the installiation of all the rebar the following day. I called for the inspection the next morning and that was completed by 9:00 AM, so the crew poured the concrete for the footing at noon the same day (you could not ask for faster service than what I received). The footing was covered, because of bad weather, and let set to cure for one week. The crew then began building the forms for the stem wall over the next two days. The concrete was poured the second day, covered, and let set to cure for about nine days. The crew then returned and removed the forms. They carried off all materials but only made a token effort to clean the area of scrap concrete and nails. They could have done a better job cleaning the area. I now have a footing and stem wall that would be strong enough to hold up a two-story steel building and never crack. The crew did an excellent job.

They were fast and they were good. They were communicative and their price was right. I recommend this company highly to others.

I had the work done approximately two weeks after getting the estimate. I called on a Thursday, they offered to start the next day; but I wanted it Monday, and they were fine with that. They arrived early that day, tore out the old driveway, hauled all debris out and prepared for the new concrete. The driveway was poured on Tuesday. One of the men stayed on site until 4 or 4:30 to eliminate the chance that kids coming home from school would be tempted by the new concrete. It is a beautiful job. When the "boss" came back to inspect the driveway a couple of days later, he wasn't satisfied with one section and had a crew come out and resurface the area. You can't tell that it was done, matches really well. I would recommend Abrahams to anyone wanting concrete work done.

Great. They worked to estimate. Showed up on time. Finished early and did a great job on cleanup. The supervisor came by a week later to deliver the bill, check on the quality of the work, and see what we thought of it. They did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone very highly. I'm not sure about the price. Other contractors never got back to us with an estimate. But we were satisfied with the price.

ABRAHAM'S CONSTRUCTION IS ONE OF THOSE BUSINESSES WHERE THE BOSS DOES A LOT OF HIS OWN WORK. HE IS JUST THE NICEST GUY YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE. HIS HIRED HELP DID A NICE JOB, TOO.
