ABQ Hair Studio

I just started going here. I have had two haircuts so far. The studio is clean, the staff is attentive, and I am aknowledged as soon as I come in the door. I look forward to going back.

Good products there.

My husband was very happy and my cut by a different provider was only adequet.

This was my first time going to an Aveda salon, but I was definitely impressed. I called in yesterday asking for an appointment with Josh (ABQ Hair Studio has a great website where they give a short introduction to each of their stylists) and was scheduled in for a 1:15 appointment today.
I arrived about five minutes early, and Josh was able to see me almost immediately. He was very polite and knowledgeable and took the time to work with my hair while it was dry, so he would know how it naturally fell. Before he started to blow dry my hair, he let me know that he would try to blow dry it straight, so I wouldn't have to pay the $10 fee to get my hair straightened.
I love my haircut, and I definitely plan to return!

I was satisfied with the color treatment.
Ruby was very nice, asked how I wanted my hair cut and took time to attempt to do as I asked.
I don't know why but she decided to and quot;thin outand quot; my hair...is it called and quot;weaving?and quot; In the process,
she removed most of the natural body and texture. My hair has not been the same since.
She also styled my hair in a manner that I found impossible to do myself. I felt that I would
have to return to have satisfactory results. Very disappointed.

I was able to get an appointment the same day I called. I had to wait 30 minutes after I arrived to be served. I thought that was a bit long given that the appointment was given on the same day and I did not ask for a rush. It looked as if I was getting a good cut at the time. Rubi was friendly. Unfortunately, the products they use aggravated my allergies and it took 2 washings to get the strong perfume smell out of my hair. I was not able to style my hair again as Rubi had done. I liked Rubi but I will probably not go back because I was not able to style my hair after this cut; it just didn't suit my life style.

They were very professional and ask you, what kind of style you want. If the style doesn’t suit you, they suggest accordingly. He will continue to use their services in the future, too.

We felt we got way more than we paid for, and what we did come for was done very well. We will be back and can highly recommend their services.
