By the end of the 3rd day Jan 29th, Mr Duran called, that my fridge was finally fixed. He arrived to deliver it and apologized for having had it for so long, and for having put a big scratch in the front of the door. Yes it was a big scratch! He said he would have to order a kit to buff out the scratch, and it should arrive in a week. After more than a week and no response from Mr. Duran, I called him. He again apologized and said he had not called because he had been out of town. He said the kit had still not arrived, and he would get back with me as soon as it did. Several weeks turned into two months, and when I did reach Mr. Duran, I received more apologies and more excuses, for not returning my calls, such as, he lost my number and he let go of his secretary. Again he assured me he would call once the kit arrived, but after no correspondence from him again, I called and left a message at his office on Apr 4th, 2015. I explained, I did not know what more to do to get him to repair the damage he agreed to fix except to take him to small claims court. After several more days, I called his office again and left a message with someone there. Mr. Duran returned my call that day and again apologized for not responding. He said he had the kit to do the repair, so I scheduled an appointment with him for Apr 15th at 2pm. He arrived more than
1 1/2 hours late. He explained his tardiness by saying he had to stop to get something to eat. A phone call explaining his being late would have been courteous.
Mr. Duran worked on the scratch for 2 hours and able to remove most of it. I was not totally pleased with the work, but frankly, by this time, I was done deaing with Mr Duran, his horrible service and his excuses. I finally demanded an invoice for the work, of which he finally produced upon his leaving. It should never taken 2 1/2 months to get an invoice, and to have the damage repaired to my appliance.
I will never again use this business nor do I recommend Ray Duran, ABD Appliance.
