We had to use this company because they were the contractor used by our home warranty provider.  The company was extremely hard to reach, very bad about returning phone calls, and was almost never on time.  The most they would commit to would be to say they'd be available on a particular afternoon and would call us about 30 minutes before showing up.  The following are the events:

On October 11, 2011, Jon with A-All Services plumbing came to our house to respond to a home warranty claim.  The claim involved a leaky bathtub (master bathroom) and two leaky toilets (one in the master bathroom, the other in the guest bathroom).  After a trip out to the hardware store, he fixed the bathtub and the toilet in the master bathroom.  The leak in the guest toilet was smaller and, after a minor repair, it initially appeared he had fixed it; however, the following day the leak had started up again.

We called A-All Services back about this, and they stated we had to put in a recall request with the warranty company, which we did shortly thereafter.  Jon came over again on 10/22/2011, took a look, and stated that he would need to replace the internal assembly (as he had to do with the master toilet).  He went to the hardware store to pick up the required parts and returned to work on the toilet.  It appeared to be fixed initially and we sent him on his way again.

The following morning, however, we found that the grout around the toilet was very wet.  We called the warranty company back, explained that this new leak did not start until after the other "repairs" were completed, and it was agreed that A-All would come out a third time to assess the damage. Jon returned on 11/05/2011.  He inspected the toilet, found that the leak was not coming from the base as originally thought but from a tiny crack in the tank near one of the bolts at the bottom of the tank  and stated that we would need a new toilet, that they would fix it, and it was just a question of whether the warranty company or A-All Services would pay for it.  He then stated that the supply store where he would buy the toilet was already closed, so he would be unable to buy it that day but said they would contact us early the following week. We were never contacted again by A-All. Several days later we did receive a call from the home warranty company stating that such a replacement was not covered by the warranty. We again explained the situation -- that the need for a replacement was caused by the plumber -- and the claim was transferred to the service department. About a week later we were contacted again by the warranty company who then stated that A-All was disputing the claim, the replacement was not covered, and we would have to file a claim and provide photos in order for the warranty company to release A-All's insurance info so that we could file a claim with them. One final attempt was made to call A-All directly to try to clear this up, but that call was also never returned.

As our toilet was out of commission for over two months and we had guests coming in for the holidays, we ended up having to purchase and install a new toilet.  And now, due to them now denying the damage, we are now in the process of a claim with their insurance company.  (The $50 listed above was just the deductible for our home warranty claim.)

This has been an absolutely horrible experience, and it's not over yet.  What was supposed to be an easy fix, covered by the warranty, became expensive in both time and money. A-All's costumer service was nonexistent. It took days for them to return calls.  They appeared to attempt cheap repairs which resulted in multiple visits, would not schedule actual visits until the last minute, and expressed a general disregard for our time and property.  Easily one of the worst companies with whom I have ever dealt.

Update:
- Submitted complaint to Better Business Bureau.  BBB found that A-All did not adequately address our complaint.  BBB offered arbitration services, which we accepted, but A-All declined.
- Submitted complaint to New Mexico Consumer Protection Department.  Offered arbitration services.  A-All again declined.
- Did not renew contract with homebuyer's warranty provider rather than risk having to deal with them again.  It's just not worth it.
