It took a week for the initial call. Then a part had to be ordered. Was told to call when we received the part. Got it a week later, called for installation. Another week. On the scheduled day they were to phone first but it would be between 8-12. Waited from before 8 but when checked the front door at 8:20 there was a “Sorry we missed you” note. Called immediately and was told the next appointment would be another 8 days. Ridiculous. On maintenance agreement

I have taken a vacuum cleaner in for repairs on two occasions.  Fortunately, I purchased the warranty on the cleaner.  This shop performed the repairs within 3 business days.  The warranty is accepted and I haven't had to pay one cent.  They are friendly and professional.

Multiple repair orders on 13 month old Kenmore Elite washer.  In last three weeks, three parts were ordered for the repair appointment on April 17th.  On April 17th, no repairman arrived.  I called SEARS for status only to be told that repairman called in 'sick' (Tuesday appointment).  Appointment  was set for April 18th; only one of the three parts was installed and washer is still shutting down in mid-cycle.  I called the 1-800 service department (transferred three times) only to be told that a replacement washer could not be sent until FOUR parts have  been installed.  I asked to speak to a supervisor if only to be told that they were sorry that I 'felt' this way (what way?).  Third call to Customer Service - Retention resulted in the advice to call back tomorrow when the technicians report had been downloaded.

Do's & Don'ts - always consider the cost of an extended warranty in the purchase price of a SEARS washer.  Do not purchase the upscale products as they are too complicated and cannot be serviced.  DO consider the basic 'nuts n' bolts' version of their products as they are less likely to break-down; further, always have SEARS identify the mfg. of the washer (there could be as many as three different mfgs.) and base your purchase decision on the quality of these manufacturers.

It was not their fault but the fault of the person who did the floor. They did not screw down the sink when they set the dishwasher in place. I ended up with a huge pool of water in my kitchen. I called the sales guy on a Saturday and he came right out and fixed. I have not had any problems since. The particular technician that came out was outstanding. He fixed it and waited to be absolutely certain that it was not leaking.

i called to find out about getting a garden tractor repaired and the person on the phone was totally uprepared. They told me that i couldn't bring it into their facility., the only way they could repair it was to send someone out and charge $100 for an estimate which would not be creditable against the repair. when i asked that the person who actually did the repairs call me, i was told that there was no way they could contact any of the repair personnel and all they could do was send someone out for $100.

They were great, they fixed the problem with the lawn mower very quickly and the lawn mower works perfectly now. They explained the problem to me and their service was great.
