They were on time and did an excellent job. However, they just couldn't track down and repair the leak; which seemingly emanated from somewhere around the chimney. A the end of the job, with the leak still present they all but disappeared. For a solid six weeks I phoned the answering service to ask the owner, Gary Trinkle, what needs to be done to fix the leak, would they please repair the leak. I received no response, he just didn't return my calls. I called again, asking to speak to Gary about what needs to be done to fix the leak; no response. Finally, being tired of getting no response from "Gary" I asked a local wood stove and chimney sweep company to take a look and give me an idea of what needs to be done to repair the leak. They climbed up on the roof; climbed down; went to their truck; came back with a tube of silicone caulk and fixed the leak. It seemed that all that was required to do the job was to caulk the old flashing on the chimney. That cost me an additional $129.00, which was well spent. And, Gary has yet to return my call.

Gary Trinkle came out and looked at what needed done. He explained that my span was too long (80 feet) for one seamless gutter because of metal expansion and contraction due to temperature changes. He would have installed it that way but couldn't guarantee it. He suggested two sections with larger carrying capacity and explained how he would make the seam waterproof and guarantee it. Two other contractors had failed to point out the potential problem with one continuous span. His recommendation of 6" gutters made a lot of sense and the cost was nearly the same as quotes for 5" gutters. He was out promptly the next morning with 3 workers and completed the job in 3 hours. I would absolutely use him again for gutter work. He does metal roofs and I would certainly get a bid from him if I had a metal roof project to do.

NOT GOOD!
Mounted a small section of new (expensive) seamless gutter in a way so we can't open our back door to the house.
mounted drains right next to the house where they are now undercutting the slab. Will have to hire another contractor to fix this.
We made the mistake of paying the invoice before holding them accountable and as a result......
NO return calls after 6 tries to reach them through their answering service.
When we did finally reach them they agreed to come back out and then NO showed us after I took off work to me them.
Poor workmanship and terrible customer service. Do yourself a favor, just DON"T use these guys.

I personally, did not make the deal with Mr. Trinkle, but was told he agreed to repair the roof and guarantee it not to leak afterward. The next rain, the roof leaked. He came back to check it out. The roof kept leaking over the months/years and Mr. Trinkle never repaired it and just quit answering the phone calls from the owner of he dealership after a while.

Gary Trinkle came to my home in April 2004 and gave me an estimate to install a metal roof. The estimate was $12,000. He ordered the metal roofing materials and had them delivered in April. These materials sat in my yard through August. I removed the screws, glue, foam and other small materials from the yard and placed them in my garage to protect from the elements. The warranty was voided on the sheet metal because it was stored in my yard. So, in April, Trinkle's crew stripped my roof down to the plywood. It remained that way until July when his crew finally showed up one day and installed tar paper and three pieces of sheet metal. This day of work came after many many many phone calls and promises to finish the job. When his crew did show up ... without notice... I was at work so the broke in to my garage through my courtyard to obtain the materials I moved there from the yard. I suppose a phone call to me and a ten minute drive to open the house was too much to ask. By the first week of August I still only had some tar paper (wind blew off much of it) and three pieces of sheet metal. The monsoon season was in full force and we ended up with a very heavy rain which collapsed my kitchen ceiling and water damage to most all the ceilings in my home. I fired Trinkle construction. FOUR months of delay and promises to work and I end up with several thousand dollars worth of damage to the interior of my home. Gary Trinkle was angry that I fired him so he filed a construction lien on my home in which I had to spend more money for an attorney to get it removed. I paid Trinkle construction $7000 which paid for all the materials (which have no warranty) and some labor. Gary Trinkle stated to me that it wasn't fair that he didn't make any money on the deal, hence the lien. I paid another contractor $6000 to finish the job. When I hired the lawyer to remove the construction lien that Trinkle had filed, I was asked to join six other clients in a class action suit against Trinkle. Problems from not completing the work, inferior products, inferior workmanship where the main complaints. These six other clients also had liens filed on their properties by Trinkle. Stay away from this man. You can not afford the heartache or the damage that comes with his business.
