John Trombino has done several projects for me at my vacation home and residence to include bathroom building and remodeling,, hard wood floor replacement, painting. He has always done exceptional work and am amazing job. John is very knowledgeable and is great to work with. His prices are very reasonable.

This relates to the building of a Victorian styled porch. John came into the project and provided a solid overview of how he would approach the construction. What makes him a great contractor is his willingness and patience in listening to how the property owner wants the job done. He took in our wishes and feedback, he carefully examined the structure and explained what could work or not work based on what we wanted. He researched porch styles and designs and built the porch exactly as we wanted, taking into account all limitations that the existing house provided. He provided great workmanship and he completed the project on time. He even showed flexibility in allowing us to acquire some preferred supplies and set his construction schedule to accommodate our ability to attain the specific supplies. He is an honest and dependable contractor, sets reasonable pricing for his work; I have recommended him to our friends and intend to use his services in the future.

After John did a great job with an earlier project at our home, we knew we had to hire him again for another one. We decided to enclose a side porch, which at the time was not getting much use. John and his crew of professionals turned what was simply an outdoor porch into an amazing sunroom, which we now use as an art studio. This was quite a complicated project with a lot of moving parts, but John pulled it off, and we could not be happier. John definitely adds the personal touch to his work. When he takes on a job, he owns it. In regards to our front porch replacement project - John did a wonderful job in turning our crumbling concrete porch into a beautiful composite material porch. John has a great personality and is always willing to answer any questions.

I hired John and he was a nice guy, but was unclear about what I was paying for so we clashed with regard to the work. After paying $800 in advance, he utilized $630 of the proceeds and after a disagreement, his partner walked out of my home while I was upstairs resting. I went downstairs to see if his partner needed anything and this is when I saw he had left with my heated garage and lower door to my home open and never said anything which jeopardized my home. They left owing me $170 and after several messages, he never returned to finish the job or return my balance of $170. Had I known he was sensitive with regard to his work product, I would not have said anything and waited until he completed the work. The disagreement evolved around him painting my ceiling in the garage which had ceiling holes. John indicated that this was the way he worked 1) he would use good paint to coat and paint the ceiling holes, 2) plaster, 3) sand, 4) prime and then 5) paint again. I felt he should plaster and prime prior to utilizing good paint. I never witnessed someone painting holes before plastering. After four (4) months, I am still waiting for my balance and Home Advisor has not been helpful in securing the balance of my funds. Nevertheless, besides this mishap, his work is pretty nice and I would recommend to friends and ask that he complete the job "prior" to making any payments because there is a possibility you will not reimbursed after giving him the money for the incomplete work.

John is a very nice man and I was convinced after meeting him that he would do an excellent job. However, John contracted out my job and he was not there to oversee the work. The work was 95% acceptable but John would not get back to me to discuss my issues with the quality of the work done by the 2 foreigners who completed the job.

John called the next day after entering my info on home advisor. He was able to stop by to look and see what I needed done the next day.He spent almost an hour trying to figure out how the job needed to be done and what tools and hardware was needed. John gave me a price and time to do the project right on the spot. He was prompt and courteous. He arrived with another person to do the job. They spent a few hours and did a beautiful job. He was neat, prompt and very pleasant. I asked him to do future work. John kept to the price he quoted. I would definitely recommend his company.

John's crew remodeled a room that a previous owner had created by enclosing a porch. The room was gutted....dark paneling, acoustic ceiling tiles and carpeting were removed Drywall, engineered flooring and french doors were installed. The job was completed in a timely fashion and to my satisfaction.

Did a reputable job but took longer than expected. Obviously, in a hurry to complete as the stair railing is poorly painted and peeling. I will have to redo portions myself. John rectified all of the issues and I am now happy with the project.

John kept to the agreed upon timeline and his price was better than other contractors. The quality of his work is exceptional. I would not hesitate to use him again.

John was great. We originally reached out to him to fix the window in our upstairs bathroom and it turned out to be an upgrade to our guest bathroom. It's a full bath now and we love it! We look forward to working with him again.

I would recommend John to others. He cleaned my gutters and installed gutter guards. He gave me a reasonable price and did an excellent job. He also does other work - great handyman to know for odd jobs around the house. Also does flooring, kitchen and bath remodeling.

He did my babies room. He's really good. He's very neat and prompt. His price is comparable to others I called. His work was better though. I will have him do more work for me.

I've recommended him to several different people, some have used him. He is very efficient. I'm going to use him again.
