Gabrielle at D&D is my go-to example of a fantastic home contractor and experience. She was the only person who was able to fit my difficult timeline (since we had a baby on the way) and completed an entire house hardie board install in 8 days with maybe 1 day off in between. The workmanship of the install is still genuinely impressive when I walk around the house a year later. Worth every penny.

I've dealt with a lot of contractors over the years and have rated a few of them a 5; but D & D has to be the best I've had in every respect. Gabrielle is an honest, sincere, and very competent owner/manager. She is detail oriented and always seemed to place my needs first. One note on the preliminaries: If a contractor offers to give you a discount if you will sign a contract immediately...show him the door. Gabrielle never used any such tricks....just straight up and honest interaction. Promises made...promises kept. Her crew is outstanding. In the middle of the project, it snowed 10 inches, but that only slowed them down by a day. They actually shoveled off the parts of the lawn they were using for their staging/work areas. Even when the temp dropped to 8 degrees, they kept going all day long. Everyone worked non-stop. The siding and the new front door have both drawn a lot of praise from neighbors. And others who drive by slow down to look at the finished product. I can't say enough good things about D&D, Gabrielle and her crew. The only problem is that Home Advisor only lets me give a maximum of 5 starts.

I am thrilled beyond compare with the job done by owner Gabriella and her crew. The quality of materials and the work crews excellent craftsmanship made for a final product that was flawless. Her team had a work ethic that cannot be matched, and they took the time to clean up after each hard day of work. It really speaks to the strong culture of the company. If you are considering installation of Hardie Plank siding, it's critical that you hire someone that knows how to install it correctly. Too many contractors either don't know what they're doing or worse, deliberately take time saving shortcuts during the installation process. With D&D you don't need to worry about that. You have the peace of mind that your expensive siding is actually being installed correctly and will look good for 30 years. I wish D&D did more more than siding/windows/roofing because I would hire them for every single project that we have. I highly recommend this company.

Dominic and Gabrielle were excellent to work with and had two excellent subcontractors who you can tell specialized in Hardyboard Siding installations and Stone work. The job was done professionally and completed in a very timely manner.

They were honest,reliable,professional and efficient. They worked from 8:00 till 6:00 everyday and got our siding torn down and up in 2 1/2 days. They checked with me on everything they did and explained the process. There workers were knowledgable and impeccable. Dominick was helpful and very knowledgable and Gabi checked the site everyday. Gabrielle was very honest and easy to work with. Upon her first visit to our house, she explained in detail the entire process, and had samples for us to review. Once we decided to hire D&D, she stopped out and finalized the contract. No hidden surprises. Once the project started, her team completed the job quickly and cleaned up very nicely.
