Jim was very honest and informed us the bathroom extractor was functioning properly and there was no need for a new one. The reason for it not working properly was a bee hive he discovered in the vent. He installed the closet door with no issues and quickly. He also did a great job with the kitchen vent and was clean while working (covered the area which he was working on). They were very friendly, honest and even gave us tips for around the home. They were a pleasure to do business with and will definitely hire again.

Because we live in a condo, we had to work with several color constraints when replacing the windoes. Jim shopped and helped us choose the best quality match, while keeping costs in mind. He presented us with various choices, with pros and cons of each. In short, he not only did the work, he gave us a good education so we could make a sound decision. He was patient while we waited for the condo to give approvals.His co-worker, Karen, answered all our questions and was so helpful with each project. I must add that when we agreed to the first proposal, we sent in a check, which they did not cash immediately. Thinking this odd, i called to see if maybe the check didn't make it. Karen explained that they hold the check and would only cash it three days before doing the job. That, I believe, shows real integrity, something sadly rare in this day. Another plus, both Jim and Karen do a lot of volunteer work in the area. People like that, who are always giving back to the community, should be supported in all their efforts. I totally recommend them!!!!

Jim, Caren, and his contractor, Rich, were professional, tidy, and quiet. Jim has very high quality standards. When he initially replaced the rotted wood planks with aluminum, it was a tricky installation, and he was unhappy with the results. He returned the following week to re-install the aluminum so that it was neater. Also, Jim and Caren are generous with their advice. They gave us great advice about other home improvements we could conduct, and what to look for when buying replacement exterior lights. Overall, it was a great experience, and we highly recommend Jim to anyone seeking a handyman.

"This deck repair of boards ,etc was done in July 2014 and my invoice price was less than 1900.00..There were no complaints at the time and the job was completed in the specified block of time while the customer was at work and I showed up when I was supposed to.... The customer said she was happy at the time and no issues surfaced after the deck repair was done. It is now a year and 5 months later since the work was done and a review is written a year and 5 months later"

I will definitely call Jim's Handyman service for all of my future handyman needs. I called them because I remembered seeing his truck in the area and seeing his advertisement in a local paper. Jim was very easy to schedule, came when he said he would come, and was willing to accept a challenging job which was completed perfectly. Most importantly, he did quality work at a very reasonable price. Another plumber I called for an estimate quoted me a price which was double what Jim charged, and that didnt even include repair to the drywall. Jim and Caren were very honest and very easy to do business with. Completely a hassle-free repair and it was done correctly the first time. Thank you for a job well done. I will be sure to call again when something else needs repairing around the house.

"Customer was very hard to schedule due to their busy schedule and unavailability and large amount of traveling and lack of responsiveness to emails/phone calls.., Unable to leave voice mails on customer's cell and when scheduled to speak at a specified time , customer was not available (didn't ans phone) ...Scheduled to review add'l work at a specified time in March. ....I was there...but building concierge would not let me in , as babysitter /nanny was not aware or told I was coming...Waited thru various attempts by concierge to call customer...Previously at time of above phone messages tried to schedule a visit in January while in their area for another customer, but emails and calls unanswered . Maintained emails from customer and forwarded to customer to support my various attempts to schedule contracted work for several months.......(time lag was initially due to the estimate that was a homeowners claim that had to be worked thru neigboar's ins) Very nice customer and when did previous work , they were very happy..."

Jim was great. Came out over the weekend to inspect the damage, gave us a verbal quote on the spot but followed up with a job estimate via email, then came back out a couple days later to complete the job. Incredibly responsive, easy to work with, high quality work, and very professional. Would definitely use Jim again.

The job was a little more complicated than originally thought; the cabinet doors required additional drilling and the vent needed to be moved to accommodate the microwave.

It had gone very well. The provider is very courteous, honest, and very friendly. I am currently receiving another quote for more work to my home from the same provider. They were great and would recommend them.

All went very well. Jim answered my calls promptly, met with me, took measurements, built the gate at his workshop and then brought it over and completed the installation.
Gate looks great and matches the existing deck railing. It is very sturdy and will keep my pet secure in the yard.

"I contacted this customer by letter stating I have never been to East Hanover to quote or do a job for her or anyone else in East Hanover and I never received a phone call or written letter in return from her ....perhaps at one point years ago ....2010...she lived in another location. I was just trying to make sure the contractor that did the work got the credit for the work."

Replaced rotting sub floor under refrigerator. Ran a water line to ice maker in new refrigerator. They were professional, helpful, and speedy. Will certainly call in the future!

The job went very well. Replacing the window was 90% of the work. When the old window was removed, unexpected water damage was discovered to the wood above and below the window. The old window had been installed incorrectly, resulting in water leaking into the area around the window. Jim removed the damaged wood, went to Home Depot to get the necessary replacement wood and installed it. Then he installed the new window correctly (so that it wouldn't leak).
The work to fix the dishwasher installation and other window were small by comparison and they were done fine.
Everything near the inside work was draped at the start of the work and everything inside and out was cleaned up at the end.
I will definately use him again
