It went very well. Manny is a Grade A carpenter. He showed up around 9am, set up camp in front of my driveway and went to work. A few hours later he was done cleaned up and I was very happy with the results

Unfortunately, the source of the leak continues to be a mystery. So now we are at Stage II and I have a call into George to see if a heat sensing camera and/or moisture detector might be useful or if he thinks removing siding where the dormers meet the porch roof is the next step.
George was very professional and knowledgeable. He didn't want to take a money for the consult, but I insisted.
