The refrigerator stopped cooling. I contacted American Appliance Service late in the afternoon and they came over the following morning, as promised. John, the technician who came to the house, was able to identify the problem almost at once, as a defective cooling fan. The fan was replaced at that time and the refrigerator was working smoothly again. This all took less than an hour. John was very efficient and professional and the initial service call to set-up the visit was handled well. The cost was fair and itemized in the final invoice. I'd definitely hire them again.

While it took 3 visits to complete their professionalism and friendly and prompt service got the job done.

As usual the responsiveness and service is five stars. I have been calling American Appliance for years and the experience has always been the same. This is a family-owned business and they take pride in their work as well as their customer service. My freezer stopped working, it's middle of summer and the freezer was packed with food. I called John Monday evening; he was at my house Tuesday morning! Can't ask for better service. As it turns out, the compressor went and John explained that it was not worth the repair. He is always honest and will tell you if it's worth the cost to fix or not. Excellent Company!!! Highly recommend them.

They were very professional and easy to deal with. When I called, the woman who answered the phone clearly explained what would determine the price - the service call, the part, the repair itself, and tax. I felt comfortable doing business with them. She said John could come the next day to repair my oven, she told me a time window, and said that he'd call me half-hour ahead. Then John's schedule changed, so he arrived later - but the office informed me well in advance of this change, so I was not inconvenienced. When John arrived to repair my oven, he was knowledgeable and pleasant. I'll definitely hire this company again.

Excellent. John came by the same day I called to check out my dryer and give me an estimate. It turned out that the dryer was 35 years old, and he didn't have the right part to fix it immediately. He ordered the part and fixed it the next day. John went the extra mile and vacuumed the inside of the dryer before reassembling it. I will definitely recommend this service and I will use them again.

Excellent. John is an excellent repairman. He is very professional, showing us the broken part and explaining what could have caused the part to brake.

Went great! John was our service tech. He called prior to arrival, was very prompt and courteous. The diagnosis was a bad circuit board which had to be ordered. A few days later the office called to tell us the part was in and John came back out that day to install! Hard to find a service these days with this level of customer service.

It went great. My freezer door wasn't closing properly therefor making the motor run harder and accumulate ice. He said the freezer basket was off the hinges and fixed it. He could have told me I needed a new motor but he was very honest. Would highly recommend this company and I for sure will use them again

Great. Serviceman, John (Jonathan?), went right to work. He tested oven then pulled it from the wall and shortly determined problem was a blocked safety mechanism affecting both ovens. He fixed the problem and was finished in less than an hour. I was expecting much worse and was ready to pay for it.
