Do not use! Had no problem cashing the $1200 check by running to the issuing bank the day it was given. Has failed to complete the job. Home has no heat and avoids calls. Has no problem leaving a home with a sick 3 yr old and 2 yr old with no heat. ( toddlers vomited 4 times while he was there so he was very aware the had a virus). Left a gaping hole in concrete floor in a home with toddlers and pets and has no problem with that safety issue. Told me he would be out at 2 pm. Never showed. Told me he would be out at 5:30pm. Never showed. Told me ( after repeated calls) he would be back in the area ( I am only about 15 mins from Riverside) and call me. Never called. Ignoring calls. While doing the first part of the job, he had to leave TWICE and didn't come back for over 2 hours. I still have no heat 4 days! No response from him. I am filing a civil suit. Do not use. I don't think this is the type of person you want to do business with.

They are definitely the good guys.

They always do such a great job. I would recommend them to anyone. They are always quick and responsive.

Ed came in and gave me a fair estimate for work and returned as promised with his team a few days later and rescued a work stoppage from another contractor. He and his team were professional, courteous, and thorough. He dotted all his "i's" and crossed all his "t's" with all paperwork and came in under budget. I will hire him again for additional work and I highly recommend his service to anyone.

I have used this company several times in the last 2 years. They have always been prompt to respond and the job was done correctly the first time. They have replaced a faucet, and unclogged a toilet, etc. But the last time was a sewer line that had become clogged with roots. They correctly figured out the problem, gave me choices and estimated costs, and then did the repairs. It was a large job for which the cost was very reasonable. I find them to be a very easy company to work with.

When I called the quote given was no way near what I was charged.

I saw water on the floor, never a good thing.
Shut off valve did not work, I shut off main water.
I could not get off the old valve without breaking something.
They came out, cut it off and put on a new one.
They came quickly. I really appreciate that.

He showed up right on time, and had my sink apart in seconds. He fixed the O rings and put the sink back together within 2 minutes. Then he walked me through my basement explaining what valves shut off water to where and checking over everything. He was in my house about 5-10 minutes total, everything stopped leaking and he wouldn't take any payment for it. Several friends raved about him and now I see why.

Excellent. Mr. McLaughlin promptly returns telephone calls. I trust his evaluation. He stands by his work. If I am not satisfied, he will come back and fix the problem.
