Steelplechase

Steeple Chase is another one of those Godforsaken companies that schedule in 4 hour windows. So my wife took off from work to be there because I really want a sprinkler system for our lawn. Our window was 9am to 1pm. She was home by 840am. She waited around ALLLLLLL day. Finally at 1pm after hearing nothing, she called to find out if Steeple Chase was still coming. She spoke to Dede. It was at that time she was informed they were there and no one was home. She then proceeded to tell her that they may have been out earlier due to the rain. She asked to hold on while she contacted the salesman. Turns out they did come out earlier before the outrageous 4 hour window and conducted the estimate. No one called her to let her know they came early and did the estimate. She waited around all day for nothing. Naturally upset, she wanted to speak to a manager. Rob the manager calls a short time later. Rob the manager was arrogant and rude. Completely void of any customer service skills. Claims he is the one who came early well before the scheduled appointment time and didnt have the courtesy to notify anyone. My wife now even more upset asked how she was going to be compensated for missing an entire day of work. Rob laughed in a condescending mannor at the idea of any type of discount for service. I will never do business with Steeple Chase. It is my recommendation you do not either.

Called late in the season, which of course is my fault, and was given an appt. within the next few days. The serviceman showed up on time and got right to work. Took care the winterization in short order. I had to pay over the phone via credit card, which I generally don't like to do, and then was never sent a receipt or confirmation. Minor gripe, but after a transaction over the phone I would have really appreciated the reciept that I was promised.

He came out and did necessary repairs. Also asked if there were other services that I needed.

My lawn looks much improved since the service began in September 2015.  It is now one of the better looking lawns in the neighborhood.

Project manager was quick to come out and evaluate what was necessary. He was honest, professional and friendly. We were so impressed with the work ethic and quality of service from the crew. They were friendly, professional, and worked HARD! We also use this company for irrigation and they are wonderful. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

My experience with them has been very good. Our lawn is probably the best looking lawn in the neighborhood. They do a great job. The level of their quality I think is better than some of these other companies. They're certainly competitive and I think their sprinkler work is superior to a lot of these other small sprinkler contractors. They're like some of the other service companies now and give you a window, but they're pretty good. If they say they'll be here between 9:00 and 11:00 it's usually closer to 9:00 versus Comcast or some of these other companies where you're lucky if they even get to you by the end of that window. Steeplechase is pretty darn good. If they say they'll be here between 8:00 and 12:00 it's rare if they're not there by 8:15 or 8:20 or at least calling me saying that they're own their way and would be here in 20 minutes.We're happy and we will continue using them. We've used them for 10 years now and we've been very pleased with Steeplechase.

everything went well according to plan. They where right on time, and cleaned up any mess that was made during the time they where their. After install one of the owners showed me how to work all parts of the system, which works great. I have had no problems since install with great pricing and quality work.

They were very responsive and did a very neat job. I like their package and warranty. The closing and opening of the system is all included. The sales staff I dealt with was very professional and responsive. They didn't disrupt the lawn when they installed it. They came and finished it in one day. Their price was very competitive. It was a very good experience.
