+ -1 moreBuyer Beware! Dave Mazzola came to my home and quoted a complete Home Theater System Installation. He told me to purchase everything for him to do the installation and I did. As he was walking around my house he had said bad things about an ADT installation and some other work I had done. I tried to ignore it as it was unethical. I asked for 2 references since I never heard of his company and he is not listed with BBB. The 1 reference invited me to her house to look at Dave's work. Dave set up an appointment for this Saturday. Dave sends me a text and cancels with no reason. Then he sends another text and said the lady whose home I was at told him I was saying bad things about him (not true, since I was looking to hire him). I called the woman and she was very upset that he would say such horrible things and apologized since she never said these things. I hope others will do the same before hiring someone as this comment is to make others aware of a horrible experience I had. This is in Response to South Jersey Home Technology's Response on Oct 28, 2012 to my Review on October 23, 2012: I never communicated my financial status to South Jersey Home Technology, as I was only looking for a competitive quote on a Surround Sound Installation, which took about 30 minutes.I sent a text to Dave Mazzolla at 5:58 pm not 11:08PM as he states,inquiring about 2 References. I asked Dave Mazzolla to provide a copy of his Liability Insurance if he was hired, in case of any type of injury that could occur to him during the installation ( I never asked for a copy of his Drivers' License or Professional License) Dave Mazzolla never called to cancel the job but chose to text me at work. After receiving several texts while I was working, I had decided to block him to avoid any future disturbances. In conclusion as stated in my review I only spoke to the 1 reference who confirmed his statements were false. I have had no contact with Dave Mazzolla or his References as I have hired a Company for this Installation.
