About us
Van Doren Oil Company is a family owned and operated full-service provider of petroleum products. Home heating oil and oil heat services are our primary products, but we also supply on and off road diesel fuel, gasoline, kerosene, lubricants and hydraulic oils. As a full-service company, we are equipped to handle any service you may need for your oil heat system. We do not use sub-contractors. We have a full-time staff of 25 experienced delivery and service personnel which enables us to provide the consistently high level of service our oil customers have come to expect. Van Doren Oil was established in 1939 by its former president, Ben Van Doren. The company has grown to include second and third generation family members along with 30 other valued employees. Together, we work to continue the high standard of service that started with one delivery truck over 61 years ago Our heating oil storage capacity of 1 million gallons is one of the largest inland storage facilities in New Jersey. This provides customers in our entire service area of Hunterdon, Somerset and parts of Warren and Morris counties with a reliable source of home heating oil in the event of supply interruptions

I've seen some reviews on other sites which say that Van Doren is more expensive. To be honest, the prices are the same as my old company's quote from this week, but Van Doren has a variety of plans to work with every customer. So, that's helpful. My opinion is that they are worth it as I need someone to show up when promised and get the job done, and they did. Period.
