We are completely satisfied with Rocky Tops work and continue to use Hank Walker (owner) for any construction related work we need. Our house was a former rental property when purchased back in 2001 and over the years hank has helped us completely renovate most of the house including a new mud room and full bathroom, renovation of two bathrooms, master bedroom, dining room, and basement and exterior trim work replacement this past summer. All work has been high quality and has lasted years. He completed the work on time and within budget. Hank is always willing to listen and execute your vision into reality. Really nothing bad to say and we will continue to use Rocky Top for any and all our construction needs.

We are repeat customers of Rocky Top starting with our basement renovation in 2006. We hired Rocky Top based on a friends great experience with him and the opportunity to see his finished work first hand- our friends completed basement. Henry will meet with you and discuss the project in detail. He will bring your plans alive, talk through every aspect, offer suggestions (if you ask him), will make changes/additions to the job during it and is very customer satisfaction driven. He will spell everything out in a written proposal before starting the job. He will give you realistic answers to questions and will research anything for you until he gets the answer you want. He and his team of electricians, plumbers, and tile installers are very concientious about keeping the work area neat and clean upon leaving each day. The jobs we have used him for are always organized and completed in a timely fashion. He is a talented carpenter - he built a bar in our basement, cabinets for storage, and disguised poles in a tasteful balanced way with mouldings. He keeps you informed at all times from the start of a project, during it and to its conclusion and backs his work. In the event of an unexpected situation while doing the job - i.e. something structural that interferes with the plan he will always discuss it with you and give you options on how it can be addressed. He is very personable and a easy to work with - he does not carry photos of his previous jobs if you are a visual individual I am sure he would produce some or supply references to his previous jobs. He may not necessarily be the least expensive,as we did have other estimates on our basement, but he does do quality work and we felt the ease of working with him and his team were well worth it in the long run.
