JON WALCH HOME IMPROVEMENTS

Jon has cleaned our gutters, installed leaf guards (to solve a bird nuisance problem) and fixed a roof leak. He does an outstanding job, is very reliable and an excellent communicator. Always does the job correctly at a fair price. I would definitely use him again (and have) and highly recommend Jon Walch Home Improvement.

Jon has been cleaning and adjusting my gutters for many years. His work had been very good and he was very responsive and professional. I have referred him to friends and family in the past. This September I called him to schedule a cleaning after the leaves had fallen from the trees. I followed up with Jon after 3 weeks when I didn't hear from him, and he called me a couple of days later, and he assured me he would be here to do the work. In the beginning of November i called him and left a message again, and no response. You would think if there was a problem getting here, after all the years I used his service, he would at least call me. No such luck. I can no longer recommend Jon as a reliable contractor.

Great guy. Very fair and reasonable.  And, he gets the job done efficiently and thoroughly.  And, his price is in line with everyone else.  I like him.

Mr. Walch has always given me good advice which I've followed. On his previous visit he advised me to trim back some trees to avoid the branches hitting the gutters during storms, which I did.

Mr. Walch was quick to respond to my message and came the very next day. His estimate was fair and he did the gutter cleaning right on the spot, with the help of one additional employee. They did an excellent job, were neat and quick. I will definitely use their services in the future.

We found Jon on Angie's List and due to his great reviews asked him to come by for a quote on cleaning the gutters. Jon was able to come over within a few days to give us an estimate. He was very honest, knowledgeable and was able to do the job at the time he came by for the quote. We are very impressed by Jon's work, he was quick, efficient and left the property very clean, he collected all the pine needles and everything that came out of the gutters. I highly recommend him and will use him again in the future.

He does gutters and cleans them up. He comes on time and I don't have to call him up. He comes twice a year. I forget to call him about cleaning up the gutters. I have also had him do repairs when some gutters got damaged by the wind. He fixed all of that for me. He does home improvements too but I have used him only for gutter cleaning and repairs.

Although I never met Jon (the reasonable estimate and cleaning both took place while I was at work, and the paperwork was left in my mailbox --straightforward and uncomplicated), we spoke on the phone. He volunteered that he does the gutters for another house on my street, which gave me confidence in his work. I can't actually see into the gutters because of their height, but I am pleased with the ease of the transaction and the price and will consequently use this company again.

Mr. Walch was very responsive when telephoned, came exactly when he said he would, and all mess from the gutter cleaning was removed. This was a very good experience.

I called Jon Walch because I discovered that one of my leaders was completely clogged with leaves, splitting at the seam. I had been using a fairly popular gutter cleaner in the Northern NJ area who never checked or cleaned my leaders. Also, we had a badly pitched gutter that two previous contractors told me couldn't be repitched. Jon not only immediately replaced the needed leader, but also reptiched the gutter.

Jon has been doing this task on a yearly basis for me for several years. At all times, the work was done efficiently and he is willing to support and discuss related matters freely. Note that the cost includes state tax.

I had been given a very high estimate from another company to replace gutters (several thousands) that seemed to me only needed repair. Mr. Walch confirmed this and repaired them. We've had a lot of rain since and his repairs seem to be holding well. He is honest and did an excellent job.

It went fine. He came when he said he would for the estimate. He asked me when I wanted him and his assistant to perform the work, and did it as we agreed to. My wife said they were very pleasant. I plan to have them back for some repair work. At the time he could not perform the repair work because the system was wet from rains.

Jon arrived after my phone call to him and carefully looked over the job site. My house is an extended ranch with maple trees all over the property, especially beside the house. In places I had sprouted seeds in the gutters, the roof had nestled seeds in the valleys that would happily germinate and clog the downspouts when it rained. He let me know exactly what he would do and how much it would cost. Jon did the work himself with one assistant. After he left there was no indication that he had been there, except for the fact that the gutters and the roof were completely free of debris. I've had other gutter cleaners, none have been as thorough or as professional as Jon Walch. I recommend his services wholeheartedly.

Jon was very responsive and kept me posted as to when he might be able to do the work (given the weather conditions). He provided an estimate in advance and called before starting the work. The job was done completely and all debris removed. I would definitely use him again for this and other projects.

Returned my call on the same day and made an appointment for later in the week, which was great. On day of appointment, arrived promptly, answered all my questions and did a fantastic job! I would definitely recommend using his service and will absolutely use him again when the time comes.
