When there was a problem due to a short non-forecasted rain which damaged the seal coating and splashed material unto a low portion of the house, David and his guys fixed things and re-coated the drive quickly at no cost to the owner. We are very pleased with this company.

Not reliable. Once he does a job, good luck getting him back for a follow-up. I called this guy on-off for 3 months to try to get him back to redo a sinkhole that he repaired sunk again after a year. Scheduled the job twice no show, no phone call, no text, nothing. Very unprofessional. I hate chasing people. I run a business too. In any business, you lose clients repeat business when vendors do not follow up. So much for guaranteed work? Never again.

Hired to fix crack across driveway - 3 days later the crack re-appeared! Stated it was due to rain and would come back NOW 2 1/2 weeks later and STILL WAITING! - Sent e-mail 1 week ago as reminder - NO REPLY to e-mail NEED to know where to go from here - Kindly advise

Dave Lucas is super competent and has assembled a very skilled crew. Dave works directly with the crew and and shows what to do as well as tells. They were fast, polite and good problem solvers; I had problems around my garage apron--they fixed them and took it from an eyesore to a very attractive feature. I recommend them highly and would use them again.

David is very personable and will take the time to answer your questions and concerns. Crew was professional and nice. Only reason for the 4 stars rather than 5 was getting them to come back out after the job was complete. Saw a spot that needed to be rerolled and it was difficult to get a hold of them to come out to fix.

David is very professional and likeable. I hired him to seal a very large driveway. He arrived early on a sunny day with no rain in the forecast and did a very good job. Unfortunately the weatherman lied. He finished the job around 11 AM. At about 1 PM the skies opened up and the last section that he sealed was partially washed off (PS: all seal coats are water based). He took it upon himself to come back, inspect the driveway, and returned a few days later to re-seal a very large section. Cost.... Zero. I would recommend Lucas Paving to anyone who does not want to get ripped off by poor quality work. (Been there... done that!)

David called us right away and gave us a reasonable estimate but didn't tell us when he would arrive. When he did arrive, he said he could repair the cracks and roots that were coming up through the driveway so we accepted his bid. Once the sealant was dry we noticed that the cracks we had wanted repaired were still there. When we called him to have him check back with us he never returned our call. The day after the work was done, we went to move our cars back onto the driveway and realized that one of the workers had left a water bottle of urine underneath our car. We are not pleased with their professionalism or communication.

My business consist of many projects not just your own. The cracks would have not needed repaired if you hadn't turned your yard sprinklers on, however the very next day after your call I came back and repaired them again. I don't appreciate you stating I never returned your call. Literally the very next day I came back and repaired them again. I apologize for my employee, but I'm not sure where the bottle of urine came from. I confronted him about and he said it wasn't him. I have never had a complaint of that kind before."

Recommended a fix vs replace. We went with the replace anyway, and turns out we were right as our gutter drains were broken under the driveway and had caused some of the problems we wanted to fix. Fixed my drains, got the fill in, did a good job on the asphalt. Price was comparable, scheduling quick.
