Was in a rush to get a survey to apply for building permit. Andrew Schmidt was extremely helpful in trying to find a quick solution. He was able to provide us with a survey on time for building permit application and came back the next day to mark property corners.

Andy was professional and honest right from the beginning.  I called him to explain my needs and he gave me a few ideas to help me save money on the survey.  I knew right away that I could trust him because he was honest as to what I would need and wouldn't need regardless of whether he would make more money on it.  He came and did a great job and was more than willing to answer any questions I had.  We determined unfortunately that the tree was indeed on my property but least I knew for sure.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is in need of his services.

Fantastic! I needed to get a current property survey for a permit to install a fence and so I contacted this company because they had a A rating and were close to my house but what really impressed me was how professional and forthcoming Andrew Schmidt was. He was very clear as to what I needed to provide him with (I.e. My deed) but if I could not find it he had alternative methods for getting the necessary information. In my case I had my deed so things more quickly and he was able to come to my house within a couple of days and the whole survey was signed sealed and delivered in less than five days. He was efficient, very polite and pleasant, answered all my questions and was on time for all the appointments. The finished product -the survey-was thorough and very professionally done . Andrew provided me with three copies even before I asked and let me know if I needed more he would supply them free of charge. He would also supply me with an electronic copy so I could save it as well. Although I did not have corner markers installed since I really did not need them, he would come back and put them in if I changed my mind. To top things off the price he charged was extremely fair especially since I wanted it done within a short period of time!!! I would highly recommend using Andrew Schmidt -Schmidt Surveying if you need to get any kind do a survey done... It was a top notch experience from beginning to end. I could not be more pleased and was happy to find him on Angie's List.

I needed to see exactly where my property line was as repairs needed to be made right on the edge of the property. I contacted Schmidt Surveying and Andrew was very prompt to respond to my first inquiry. He was able to schedule an appointment to survey my property within a day or two from our first conversation. He and his crew arrived on time and took care of the job. Everything was very professional. He came back a few days later and installed the corner markers. He took time to explain everything that he was doing as he was doing it and got back to me immediately when I had a question. I would use him again and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of his services.

Mr. Schmidt and his assistant worked very efficiently and professionally!  Mr. Schmidt located the original property corner markers and remarked them and showed me their locations.  He actually had the actual survey map drawn and emailed to me as a .pdf file the next morning.  He is giving me as many copies as I want and said I could obtain more at any time without cost.  Mr. Schmidt was very pleasant and wonderful to do business with.  I recommend him highly.

I contacted Andrew after reading great reviews about him on Angies List for checking the survey pricing. I liked the responsiveness and the details he had provided on phone so I requested the buyers attorney to use Andrew for our survey.
He uses all state of the art equipments and gadgets :). All the communication was on emails / text(sms) messaging and he kept me informed on when is he going to be on the site for the survey, so if I wanted to go and accompany him for questions. He answered all of the questions once we were on site and showed me existing markers (and did not just charge for new markers).
Survey came back promptly in a couple of days via email. Also, when I asked him to add more property dimensions to the survey, which I can use for permits, he gladly did it without any extra charges. I think that extra step was not needed for the 'title survey', for which he was hired, but he did it anyway quickly and promptly. I would recommend him for any survey needs.

Andrew was very responsive to our request for a new survey as our building permit was pending this new survey. I sent him the email and asked if he could help us out. Within a week from when I first asked him to perform the job he was finished.
The town inspector and town engineer had some comments not regarding the survey, so I wanted to add some additional information on the survey and Andrew responded to that right away and he updated/added these items.
Andrew found one old property corner pin buried under several inches of dirt. He lifted the dirt and marked the iron pin. Since he found this old one, he charged me for one less corner pin.
Schmidt Surveying will come back to mark the offset lines for the new foundation to make sure it will be on the right spot. The town even want them to come back and document that the foundation is in correct spot, since we are very close to the limits without a variance. Later they will come back and make an as-built survey when all the building is done.
Both my wife and I are very glad that we went with Schmidt Surveying.
