Everything went well. Mike showed up exactly on time. His price was reasonable. His roofer was very conscientious about making sure the roofing part of the job was done correctly.
When I was on the Board of Directors for my townhouse community, we used Newman Electric to install exterior lights on some of the buildings. Mike Newman did a good job and is very easy to work with.

He was very nice. He showed up when he said he would, ready to work. He had a helper with him. They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. Everything passed inspection.

Newman brought a second guy with him and they worked quickly and efficiently to get all our small jobs done in one day. They were very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and completed all jobs perfectly. Everything works great and looks great! We highly recommend them, and plan to call them again for some other electrical work in near future.

We could not be happier with Mike and will be using him for ALL of our electrical needs from this point forward. We've been in New Jersey for three years now, and have had a lot of bad experiences with electricians (ranging from inaccurate estimates to downright rude behavior). I called 4 electrician's, all from Angie's List, to get bids on what we needed done. Mike was the first to return my call, and was friendly and professional from the get-go. He was the first to come to the house, and even with the other electricians who did come and give me estimates, Mike's estimate was the most reasonable, and he was the most likable. Because we have a pretty tight budget, the cost of the work played a large factor in who we went with. After meeting Mike, we decided that even if the other electricians were cheaper, we were still going to go with him--he's just that nice. The work was done quickly, efficiently, and it was done well--Mike is incredibly capable. He even installed our new dining room light fixture, which wasn't in the initial plan. I just happened to buy one, and asked Mike if he could put it in when he came to fix the kitchen lights, and he was happy to do so. This guys is phenomenal and I HIGHLY recommend him.

Mike was quick to give me an estimate and he was very reasonable. I was redoing my entire kitchen so he made suggestions, was very knowledgeable and finished the job quickly.

Easy, easy, easy. I emailed him, he called, he came, he saw, he quoted, we hired, he came, we paid. It was all painless, professional and the way it should be. His pricing is awesome. $150 per item. Doesn't matter what it is. Doesn't matter if wiring is there or not.

These are wired electric smoke detectors. He finished on time, he was there when he said he would be. He was very cordial and very responsive. He was attentive to my needs. I felt like he was the type of guy who feels like no job is too small. I really like that he is local and everyone I know who has used him have been satisfied.

Outstanding. Reliable, on time, meticulous in cleaning up, very neat work even commented on favorably by building inspector, came back for unassociated problem requiring quick fix and did not even charge for it. Pleasant, friendly and obviously enjoys his work and is good at it. A triple AAA experience that is rare with contractors. Real value for the money, would use again in a heartbeat.
