My mom's heating system boiler started leaking, so I called Kevin Nast to give us an estimate for a replacement.  Kevin recommended putting liquid solder into the boiler to try to stop the leak.   Kevin could have told us from the start that we needed a new boiler, but he did the right thing by offering us an option that would save us money.   It's been about a month since he put in the liquid solder and the boiler has not leaked since.  I have been using Kevin probably for 20 years or so and I have never had a problem with him.  He is honest, punctual, and personable.  By the way, I asked Kevin the cost of a replacement boiler, just in case my mom needs one in the near future, and he gave me a fair price.

They are terrific. Came by one day to see what the problem was and told me to try to get the part for free from the company.
After the part arrived, they came by the next day to fix it.

Kevin fit us in his busy schedule and showed up right on time- on a Saturday. He fixed the problem in 15 minutes and we are so grateful for him. Wonderful plumber! We will definitely look for his help when we re-do our bathroom. Thanks again for helping us so quickly.

We use Kevin all the time. He gave us many options and we picked exactly what we wanted. He installed the toilet and left my bathroom very clean. The toilet is great. He is very personable and trustworthy. I highly recommend Kevin.

I have used Kevin for many years now and he's always been reliable. When he says he's going to show up, he shows up, unlike other plumbers I've used in the past. Not only is he professional and skilled in his work, he's a very personable guy who doesn't mind listening to the homeowner and answering his questions. Too many other contractors visibly make it clear that they can't be bothered explaining what they're doing. On this last job, after he was finished, Kevin spent time with me discussing the pros and cons of moving one of my toilets. He did some measuring and calculating, and gave me a fair price to move it. I'll have him return in the Fall to do that job. I also like the fact that Kevin's business is local, so that if there is an emergency, he's close by.

I had a long list of plumbing repairs that needed to be done but were not urgent. However, when I noticed a flood in the basement coming from a pipe above, it was time to take action. Mathis and Nast was recommended by an acquaintance and when I called, they scheduled me in immediately. They fixed the leak (it was a corroded pipe) right away and scheduled time later that week to do the rest of the repairs. As the plumbing in the house is old, many of the pipes they worked with actually fell apart when touched, so it ended up being more complicated than anticipated..

Kevin and Bill were delightful to have working in my home, did excellent work, tried to save me $$$ wherever possible, cleaned up when they were finished and gave me valuable advice to prevent future problems. What more could I ask for?? I highly recommend them!!

Kevin and Bill were punctual, professional, and offered very good value for their services. They repaired the leaks, but one of them continued to leak a bit after they left. We called Kevin and told him about the continued leak and he was there promptly the next morning(the day before thanksgiving!) and resolved the issue. We've had no problem since. We would definitely call them back.

Kevin is so good. He's a nice guy who comes when he says he's going to come, diagnoses the problem and fixes it the first time around. Everytime he comes to do a job we're in much better shape than before. We have an old house that seriously needs a good plumber nearby and we feel very fortunate to be able to call Kevin Nast.
