Throughout the entire project we had weekly meetings with Mike and Steve (Project Manager) to discus the progress of the project and we were in daily contact with them as well on the smallest of details. Steve, the project manager pays such careful attention to each detail - one example (of many) is calling me to ask how long my shower curtain is to make sure the shower curtain rod was installed at exactly the right height. Alex, the master carpenter went above and beyond - one day I found him shoveling our driveway on my way home from work! Another example of their excellent work was early on in the project during demolition. I came home one night to discover we did not have water at 8 pm. Within ten minutes Mike was at my house, had his plumber out, and even managed to get the water company out within an hour to fix the issue. I could go on and on with examples such as this.
Lastly, we worked with Azzam who is a kitchen designer that Mike often works with, and we could not have been happier. We met with a Westfield kitchen design company and while we were happy with their design, it cannot even begin to compare to the level of detail and thought that went into what Azzam did with our design. From coming with us to pick out marble for the countertops to coming up with a unique backsplash design, we trusted Azzam with his suggestions and could not be happier. Overall, I cannot recommend Michael Robert Construction enough.
