 + -1 moreI found some wainscoting I liked for my kitchen and dining room on houzz.com. I showed Matt the pictures. He told me to meet him at Morristown lumber to select the crown/chair rail and trim we would need to achieve the look. He made helpful design suggestions, worked neatly and quickly. He is realistic about the time needed and very fair with pricing. If you have other follow up projects to discuss while he is there, he will spend time discussing those as well. I felt 1000% comfortable leaving him in the house working and even letting himself in while my wife and i were not home. If the industry had more Matt's, there would be a whole lot less and quot;home-improvement-horror-storiesand quot;.
Description of Work: Matt has been to my house for 2 separate projects. The first project was a "rescue" from the worst contractor in Norther New Jersey. I was basically robbed from a contractor who took my money and stopped coming in the middle of a basement job. Matt came in, finished the job and did an amazing job including 2 built in book cases, tile work in the bathroom, and some custom doors/cabinets, etc. Next he came back and did wainscoting in my kitchen and dining room, chair rail/crown molding, priming/painting. He works neatly, has a great assistant, is punctual, smart, and as a bonus, funny. His prices are too reasonable. I never need another carpenter/handyman/painter/tiler etc. He has great subs too for plumbing/electric.
