After being abrupt and rude to my wife over the phone, Jeff showed up to look at our fridge that had stopped dispensing water and making ice. He fiddled with the (brand new) filter for a minute, showed me that the plastic tip had somehow been chewed up and said it needed to be replaced. After looking at the water lines for a few minutes, he concluded that the water line must be frozen and we should empty the fridge to let the line in the door thaw out. (We've subsequently had a real repairman in to diagnose and resolve the issue.) So for 15 minutes of Jeff's time and no actual solution, we're out his $100 fee and had to replace the $50 filter again. Not recommended.

Jeff came to see my refrigerator that stopped cooling and froze a chunk of ice in the freezer. He was referred to me and I was very surprised of his complete unprofessional behavior and unwillingness to explain and help make a decision whether to repair it or get a new one. His responses were downright rude and he seemed very unstable. He charged close to 200 dollars for being at my house for 20 minutes. I will now have to get someone else or buy a new fridge. After he left I discovered that he broke a decorative item that was on top of the refrigerator that he never told me about. I would not recommend him and will never work with him again.

I thought it was going to have to be replaced, but Jeff was able to get my 15 year old refrigerator working again. He came out the morning I called and remarkably he had the part necessary for the repair - an impressive feat given the age of the frig. It works perfectly again. Great work!

I called him around 9:30 A.M. because my 11 year old refrigerator stopped cooling.  He arrived promptly at my home for an 11:30 A.M. appointment the same day.  He spent more than an hour pulling out the refrigerator and taking it apart. He concluded the compressor had burned out.  He explained that the overheating of the compressor may have damaged other elements of the refrigerator but the only way to know for sure was to install a new compressor. For that reason, he recommended I purchase a new refrigerator.  He then reassembled the refrigerator and moved it back into its recess.

Jeff came right away and works often in this area. Price seemed high but I didn't shop around and I was grateful to have it fixed. He was professional and knew right away what to do....all in all a pleasant experience

I called Jeff?s Appliances on a Wednesday, he returned my call in 15 minutes and on Friday morning Jeff arrived to fix my refrigerator.   I have a fairly new refrigerator which was leaking from the bottom portion of the freezer. The drain was clogged and needed to be cleaned and a new drain heater kit was required.  It took about 45 minutes and the job was done. To be honest I really don't know if the price was good or not since I didn't seek out another repair company.  Bottom line is that I was happy with the work, fast response and professionalism.  I would use Jeff?s Appliance Repair Service again in the future.

Jeff has fixed our refrigerator and dryer in the past. He came quickly, was concerned with preserving the life of the appliance, and the repairs were all OK. He might not have a slick bedside manner, but we are looking for expertise, honesty, quick response, and a reasonable price. We would hire him again because he treated us with respect and concern; he knows we are loyal clients and treated us that way.

Our washing machine was off balance and not working well. We called him in to check it out. It cost us $200 to find out the drum was cracked and we needed to buy a new one.

He was very knowledgeable about the appliance and replaced the specific part that needed replacing without charging a lot. Exactly what you would want from an appliance repair person.

Oven was emitting a chemical odor.
Jeff replaced a part associated with the starter.
The chemical odor was still there. He claims something dripped causing the odor.
This was not a grease burning odor. i do not use chemical cleaners in the oven. The oven was spotless.
The chemical odor was evident all over the house when the over was on.
I got rid of the gas-range.

We were going to throw the dryer out but decided to see if we could save it. When he came out and he informed us that he was able to fix it. He is responsible he arrived when he said he would. Did an excellent job and charged us a reasonable rate. I would use him again in the future if I needed to.

I called Jeff the first time my dryer was taking so long to dry towels he came out and said it was the heating elements and had to replace them, the next time he cleaned the vent and changed some plug and third time readjusted the timed dry to 90 minutes instead of 60. Needless to say prior to calling Sears the dryer was not working and Jeff had no idea had to fix the problem. Sears came in and most fixed it the same day and almost everything was covered under manufacturers warranty - Jeff had no idea about manufacturer warranty he only wanted his money in check or cash.
Response from JEFF'S APPLIANCE REPAIR SERVICE
"Sorry to see that you just couldn't call me (deleted member name) if you were unsatisfied with my service. I would have gladly tried to rectify any concerns you had. About the 1000 charge, my receipt states 249.00. which I changed the belt, lubed the bearings and cleaned the lint out of the machine. I also advised you that you need to have the venting cleaned out since it was built inside your wall. I also give a 90 day guarantee on any parts replaced. As far as YOUR manufactures warranty shouldn't YOU know what it is????and one last thing I was just wondering, I'm sure Sears called you right back and was there that day like I was right? We both know that's not true either but in any case I'm truly sorry you were dissatisfied and hope your future endeavor's with Sears goes well."

We called Jeff and he came the next day promptly. We had a bad board which was replaced. He helped defrost the coils in the freezer and made the repair. Disappointing that a refrigerator would have an issue so quickly, but it seems the way these new appliances are built these days.

Our refrigerator had water puddling on the shelves in the freezer and refrigerator. I called Jeff's in the morning. He called back immediately and was at my house and had my refrigerator fixed before 10 in the morning. It was wonderful to get a call back so quickly and have the service done that morning. It couldn't of gone better. He replaced the part and it was been working great ever since.
