Galaxy was on our architect recommended list. Neither cheapest nor costliest estimate, but we got the sense he would care about our satisfaction and would make good suggestions on details and vendors, which he did. He finished on time, on budget, with good humor throughout and we still bask in compliments on the work.
BTW, 7 years later, when Irene knocked our power out and we came home from a weekend in Montreal to find water in our basement, we called Jim to ask if he happened to have an unemployed generator to drive our sump pump. He came by within the hour, loaned us his generator for as long as we needed, and didn't expect a thing for it. (When he picked it up a week later, he didn't refuse the bottle of Chateauneuf-du-Pape attached.)
