+ -1 moreFriday night my furnace would not light, so called the repairman who had replaced my damper circuit board last year. Very quick to suggest a total furnace and a/c replacement. Not an option, so he then told us we needed to replace the gas regulator and the circuit board at a cost of $1200+ plus labor and could not order the part until Monday. Charged me $125 and we spent the weekend in the cold. Monday we got a second estimate, they did a test and determined it was a broken ignitor and fixed it on the spot for $680. This technician was not knowledgeable on my Lennox furnace. Seems he just wants total replacement and not diagnose or repair existing furnace. I would not recommend him.
