Home Depot told me the delivery date. They called like they said they would. They guy came an hour when they told me they’d be there. They took my old one and delivered the new one. They did okay. They walk up to you and ask you if they can help you when you are at the store. They did everything they said they were going to do.

Home Depot hires Measure Comp to measure the area.  The cost is $35.00 for the measurement.    This cost for the measurement is reimbursable if Home Depot does the installation.  Contractors found on Angies List provided  estimates at no cost.  Bottom Line, unless Home Depot does the installation, do not use Home they  did not call until after 9:00 AM stating that  they could not measure until after 6:00.  As with everything else, shop around when purchasing materials.  You may find other stores which provide comparable materials at a lower. cost.  In the past, I've used Home Depot, they do good work, but will shop around and will use Home Depot if materials are on sale to off set the meaurement cost.

I spent $1400 on the job. There was always someone to help me make choices and explain the options available for me. I have always purchased things from them. The guys they sent out to install the fan were contractors. They were excellent. All the other companies I had contacted for the fans had various reasons for not doing the job. The first company told me that I didn?t need the fan, while the second company told me that they couldn?t install it. The third company didn?t have the permit to do the work. I had searched outside Home Depot because, in the past, they had charged me a higher amount. They did so because they had to split the amount between them and the contractor. However, I found out that they were charging lesser than the other companies. The price was excellent. Overall, I had a great experience with them.

Overall, it went well. Although we did have to have the subcontractor back to our home after the job was completed for additional cleanup. There were places where the carpet wasn't tacked down and where they hadn't cleaned up the edges of the carpet.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH EVERYTHING THAT WAS DONE. IT WAS COMPLETED WITHIN THE TIME FRAME I WAS GIVEN. THE CONTRACTORS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL & THE WORK WAS COMPLETED AS SAID.
