I pay them an one time fee a year, and they come out as needed. Overall, I am pleased with the services. I don't have any problems.

Very well, no more issued with those flying bugs

They were very thorough and the carpenter bee issue is much more under control. We used a different pest company last year and we did not see as much of an improvement as we have with Western's services.

The company responded quickly but with poor service quality. The guy just stayed in the house about half an hour and put several traps. We asked the techinician to check if there are any holes between garage and house, he did not do it even we spent a lot efforts moving stuff. The inspection was quick and not careful. We signed up its HPP program that included preventive program, but we did not see the action.

All went well, but expensive!

The person sent first for an evaluation was totally professional.  I decided to sign up for a year of service so that I don't have to search for help in the future.  I have seen no more wasps/yellow jackets and the ants problem seems to be gone, too.

They were really good. Basically he on point. They were good. The guy was professional and basically came on time and fixed the problem, get rid of the roaches. They came in and took care of it and after two weeks I haven't seen one or two roaches and until this day I haven't seen one or two roaches. I get a yearly contract with them and they are a little expensive than the other companies but what they do is, they come four times a year, per quarter, treat the entire house and everything and then if you see any insect during that one year, you can call them and they will come out with absolutely no additional charge and take care of it. It's great. It's pretty good service for a $600 and the best thing is that, whatever treatment they have are very effective  because we had an issue with our tenants that we rent out to and they came in and really took care of it. I was very pleased.

They are very reliable and very responsive.  They have come out several times to fix the ant problem but they did fix it and were very courteous about it.

Found bugs all over kitchen & closets of clothes. No clue what they were. Called around & had other companies come check & give me estimates. Was told we had carpet beetles from prior company's consult. Husband uses Western Pest throughout the city of Jersey City for Fire Dept so called them. A Rep came out & investigated the entire house, inside & out, looked at my bag of bugs, then sat with us to go over what he found, cost of service & what was included. The District Sales Rep, Otha Tisdale, Jr. was great. He has been in business for over 20 years & was very knowledgeable. I hate bugs (not that most like them, especially in your food bowls or all over your clothing, but, ...) & Otha told me everything they would do & what WE needed to do to handle where we were at at the time.... We both felt more comfortable with Otha than other companies & their reps; plus carpet beetles were INCLUDED in contract pricing & not extra. On top of that, due to my husband having contract at work, we were given discount.  After everything that was done & being witness to their work (well, hubby was), the savings & the fact that our bug issue was included were added bonuses. The knowledge & care received from both our tech ( Ugh! I will get his name) & Otha Tisdale, Jr, the District Sales Rep, I feel better already. Still living in plastic bags & clean more than my OCD hands ever thought possible, but the assurance that they are there when we need them & any question I ask they know the answer. (Believe me, I want to know my opponent & I asked ALOT of questions!!!)

I will absolutely continue to use them in the future. We have 2 contracts with them. One of the contracts is for our house. The other one is to spray for carpenter ants.

They were very good and the price is about what I expected. They were here when they said they would be and I will use them again in the future.

We had ants in our house. They put some stuff around the house keeping the ants to getting to them. There were trees and bushes around the house and the ants used to get into the house through them. There were some ants in the ad deck as well and they said that we had to trim the trees so that they could clean the ad deck. Then we trimmed the trees and we called them again but they didn’t clean the ad deck and they again put some stuff around the house and left. Their price was very reasonable. They were responsive and professional. They knew what they were doing. The only thing was the consistency between what they said they were going to do and what they ended up doing. The day they said they would clean up the ad deck, they never went into the house. Their price was fair.

After many years of trying to keep pests under control we had reached a point where ants were regularly finding their way on the first floor of our home. Occasionally they would find their way to food scraps (floors only) in the kitchen area. We called about 4 pest control services, all of which quoted similar prices, I believe just under $400. In each case they seemed to be offering 3 treatments, an initial followed by two continuing applications. They also offered free follow up in the case any pests are not controlled. Some did not actually look at the home to quote prices, I did not trust that. JRG did stop by to offer the quote. We hired JRG ( http://www.jrgpest.com/ ) (same as Western Pest Service) from the number listed above on Angies List. I do not know why that number linked to JRG as a company name and not Western. The reason we chose them is prompt response, knowledgeable staff, and the Angies List score. The first treatment was thorough. The tech explained what type of ants we had a problem with, what they seek out, and what they would do as well as what we could do to help control the ants. He applied on the exterior a foundation liquid barrier and pellets in the lawn to make a barrier approaching the house. Where I pointed out streams of ants entering he spot treated with a gel. Inside, surprisingly, he did not leave tons of things. I thought no way would it work. He left gels in cracks, sticky things on pipes (to show evidence of activity), a mouse bait in the garage (although no known activity), not much more that I can remember. After he left, I thought, geeze I could have done that, why did my stuff not work, this wont either. Well, after a few days activity increased. The chemicals were blood thinners, it made the ants seek out water, making them appear. He said that might happen. I was compelled to call them back but they said they could not reapply within a week, so I had to wait until after a vacation. I was not convinced anything would work. Upon returning after having been gone more than a week we found our home with thousands of dead ants in piles. totally gross. There was also some food that had been left uncovered which ants were streaming to. we called JRG immediately, they replied quickly and reapplied in similar fashion to the initial. We cleaned everything up, sweeping up literally thousands of dead ants. I also sealed every baseboard molding to cover any potential cracks (suggested by JRG on initial visit). After that visit we virtually never saw another ant in the year that followed. Considering how bad it was, and the piles of dead ants, I have been totally impressed and satisfied with the plan. At one point we had a wasp nest in dirt, they took care of that quickly. Wasps in rafters also taken care of. No other pest problems of any kind since the second initial treatment. In the year that followed we got two follow up treatments, neither left as much in the house (chemicals) and that is good. Pests are gone. In one case I got a call from their billing dept. They forgot to charge the initial charge price vs follow up, so the requested an additional $12 to fix that. Although I thought that was odd, it was true and I allowed the charge. It was minor and handled professionally. (reason for B score on professionalism, I would have expected a minor billing error to have been absorbed) The two follow up visits were scheduled automatically (post card), one I changed by a quick phone call. All techs were professional, well dressed, respectful of being in your home. Overall I am very satisfied with the annual plan. They totally took care of every pest problem I had. I do not know why I could not get it, but they did (they claimed professional chemicals are more effective than Home Depot chemicals), I doubted that claim until I saw the results. http://www.jrgpest.com/

Western Pest Service provides good quality work for the price of the service. They come when they say they're coming and assess any potential problems there might be with my home. I like that if I have a problem with any bugs or other rodents they will take care of that also. I am very pleased with their work.

When calling for the estimate they were very detailed, thorough, and answered every question. Their rates were competitive. The first time they came out, the exterminator was very friendy, on time, and explained what he was going to do. We needed them to come out again for another intermediate service and per the contract that was free. Exterminator was on time again. No complaints so far. Would recommend them.

We call them three time a year. They came immediately to take care of our hornet problem and they were good.

A very good experience. They responded to our call promptly and politely. Arrived on time and performed a thorough evaluation of the house. Carpenter ant problem resolved after 2 visits. Arranged for multiple year maintence contract since that time. They always arrive on schedule and perform a thorough job.

They are a very good company. They come out a few times a year with our contract and treat the area. We had another mouse that came in the house in January, and they came right out and set all new traps. They are very efficient and clean.

They cover all the animals except the squirrels. They are very responsive. They try to make it convenient to come by. They have been very good. I am not thinking of another pest control service company. I like the person who comes out. Their service has been great. We called them for a specific problem and they solved the problem. So we took a contract out with them and they have been great. I shopped for price before going with them. They were competitive.

Service was a bit pricey as I took the one-year service plan. But they have been very responsive and came back to my house quickly and without any hassle when I needed them. I would use them again.

They are wonderful. They are efficient and they show up quickly when I call them. I ended up singing the contract with them. They take care of it on an annual basis. They charge $400

They are gone and if I have another problem with them I will call this company back. They were courteous and prompt and their prices were reasonable.
