I thought it was going well at first. The first gentleman I spoke to was friendly and knowledgeable. The second man was friendly, but as the first gentleman looked for the prices of my items the second guy, who was ringing me up, brushed him off and said he got it. He charged me $20 for a 3 pack of paint rollers and three paint tray liners! I will never return although I prefer to support smaller businesses.

I wouldn't normally take the time to recommend a place that just sold me a drop cloth and some hardware, but I wish that I had known about this place when I first moved to the area. Schneider is a local gem. A genuine hardware store like the ones my Dad (actually my Mom - my Dad wasn't very handy) took me to as a child. They have most small items that you would need for DIY or repairs. They sell and cut glass, they repair lawnmowers and snow blowers, and they sharpen ANYTHING. Chainsaw blades, kitchen knives, scissors, you name it. The guy there told me that they have a lot of things to fix things in older houses which places like Home Depot and Lowes don't carry anymore. Original fixtures and hardware and things like that. Neighborhood businesses like these need to stick around. I wish I would have known about them sooner.
