Description of Work: My husband and I needed a new water softener. We contacted Sears, who in turn sent this company. Sears gave us a price and we agreed on it. When the man from this company arrived, I was home with my 1 year old. He came in with another man and looked at the space where the water softener would go. He brusquely told me it would be an extra few hundred dollars becasue a piece was missing. I politely told him I would talk to my husband and get back to him; this was out of our budget and not at all what I expected. We also thought we might be able to get this expesive ppiece back from the person who removed the old water softener. He became very impatient and started raising his voice and talking in an angry, annoyed manner. He explained that he already had the water softener in his truck and had planned to be doing this job. I called my husband on the phone to explain the situation. While I was doing that he used his cell phone to call his office manager. I could see him rolling his eyes and describing the situation in a sarcastic manner. Right in front of me. I felt very uncomfortable at this point. I could even describe the tone I was getting from this man as hostile. I certainly didn't want to proceed, alone with a baby with this person. My husband agreed. I thanked him for his opinion but that we couldn't afford the extra quote. He left very angry and annoyed that I had wasted his time and slammed the door. I called Sears back and learned that the office manager this man was talking to on his cell phone was his wife. I don't know if this is how all of this companiy's workers conduct themselves, or if this particular man was having a bad day or if it is customary for this man to conduct himself this way. Whatever the case it was very unprofessional and not even necessary. Overall it was very upsetting. Unforttunately Sears only uses this company in my area so we went with another company, otherwise we would have been happy to proceed with Sears.

Description of Work: I called Napolitano Brothers for a large scale plumbing project for my office. We are putting in a bathroom.

Description of Work: ~ Removed all 4" cast iron waste lines in basement ~ Replaced with PVC lines ~ Replaced 1 1/2" rotted vent line for laundry sink ~ Installed new Gastite gasline to dryer ~ Installed 4" dryer vent kit and drilled thru cement wall ~ Installed new 3/4" ball valve on water main into house ~ Plug off old gas line in basement to unused stove ~ Installed new shutoff valaves under sink
