The strike plate was not installed correctly, and the door won't close properly. I had them come back out once to fix the problem, it's still not fixed. Now, when the bolt is locked we can't unlock it from the outside with the key.

Essex was great. They installed the door ahead of schedule. The door looks great, the work was done neatly in one day.

We have used this company previously at another home we owned so we knew they were very reputable. The provider was very professional. He discussed our lock options and had all the materials with him that he needed to change our locks and install a new deadbolt on the door leading into the basement. Our home is 80 years old and so are the doorknobs and he repaired a closet knob that wasn't working correctly, at no charge. He also gave us plenty of keys after finishing the job - every key worked perfectly in the locks. We recommend this company to my daughter who lives in the same town.
