I have older wiring in my house and the cloth wrapped wires were extremely frail. I started the job as a DIY but ran quickly into a dead end in when the wires started to degrade. I called in E&H Ohara and they worked quickly to install the new ceiling fan junction boxes and wire the fans. They even worked around me while I ran out to home depot to get another part i forgot to buy in the middle of the install.

They did a great job upgrading from knob and tube and were priced well below other providers. We're still near them and will use them for significant work on our current house. So thrilled to finally find a good, reasonably-priced electrician.

Everything went perfect. Called for estimate on a Monday, esitmate was done on Friday. They emailed me a written proposal the following Tuesday. I had the work done the following wed. The workers showed up on time, were professional and courteous. Because the wall I wanted the outlet installed on was only one inch thick one of the guys went all the way back to the shop to get a special outlet box that would fit flush to the wall. To me that is "going the extra mile" to do the job right! They were in and out in one hour and did exactly what I wanted. I have used them twice in the past and they have been great every time. I highly recommend O'Hara!

Very satisfied with their service. They are professional, punctual and responsive. I have used them two other times and have not been disappointed. They provide a proposal upfront and are available to answer questions before and after the job. The electricians and office staff are respectful of your time and therefore, are punctual and provide an estimate of the time required for the work.

They were easy to deal with, quickly scheduled an appointment, and came when they were scheduled. They gave a window of time but showed up early in the window both times they came.
They replaced the light switches and then determined that the recessed light couldn't be fixed and needed to be replaced. They ordered the part and within a week had scheduled the follow-up appointment (I wasn't in any hurry to have it done, but they could have done it quicker than a week).
When they returned, the light was replaced.
The other thing they did was discuss other questions I had about some old lighting in the house and some fan issues I had. They were great about giving me advice how to fix my problem and how to select new lighting.
I would definitely use them again.

The technician was prompt, courteous and super quick. I asked him to look at an additional outlet that I thought was not working correctly and he reported that it was. Refreshing to not have someone "fix" something that wasn't broken.

We had lost power to portions of our house after a storm and he came out almost immediately after my phone call. He found the problem quickly and was able to replace it right away as his truck had all the basic needs in it. His work was just fine and there were no big surprises, it was not that big a job after all. I would recommend him to others.

Initially unable to get an appointment for new work for 2 weeks. On the day scheduled the crew was late due to another job that ran over(spoke with Mr. O'Hara who apologized); they did arrive in the afternoon and partially completed the job. Returned in two days and finished everything. Two different sets of electricians worked each day. All were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Double checked with me on placement details. Ran wire neatly and securely in basement.

THEY HAD FRIENDLY & COURTEOUS EMPLOYEES WHO WERE ABLE TO FINISH THE JOB FAST. THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGH, BUT WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH OUR WIRING SINCE.
