Home Building
Horrible experience. The contractor wanted 45,000 up front to start. We paid 20,000. He completed demo and wanted the remaining to get started on foundation framing. We paid additional 20,000. We found out two of his previous homes were in complete disarray to the extent where one had to put his home on auction. We also saw some more of his work, where foundation walls were cracked as they were being pushed off the top. His wife forged my signature on township papers, they filled out all of the paperwork wrong and they didn't have a complete package into the township for approval. We fired him and asked for the refund of our funds because they only did approximately 15,000 worth of work.
