Powell Flooring is a family owned and operated business that has been installing, refinishing, and selling hardwood, laminate, and vinyl floors for 4 generations. We take a great amount of pride in our work. The owner is on nearly all job sites, large or small, to oversee the work. We are experts at matching stain colors. This allows us to weave new floors with your existing floors, patching and replacing damaged boards. We insist on using only the strongest and best floor finishes available today. We work extremely well with kitchen design companies, contractors, home decorators, and homeowners alike.

Love the floors! The estimate was fair and the work was done quickly and well. Had a problem scheduling a call back for a minor repair, but the repair was done nicely. Would hire again.

The work was very good and I would recommend him to anyone who needs a hardwood floor repaired or refinished. He is not a general carpenter, confining his work to floors. He was very helpful and cooperative. We do not live in this house anymore and we were not in the area to give Mr. Powell the key to get in and do the work. He had to wait until the painter finished painting the interior of the house and the carpet cleaning people to clean three rooms, all of which had different schedules. When he was ready to go in he had to arrange to get a key from the painter. What I am saying is there are people who would not want all these complications to do a one day job.
The floor has a satin finish and it looks as good as when it was first installed in 1991. I am pleased with Mr. Powell's work. If the size of the job warrants, he will travel some distance to do the job. He is not confined to a five mile radius as is some tradesmen.

THEY WERE GREAT TO WORK WITH. THEY WORKED AROUND MY SCHEDULE AND SHOWED UP ON TIME AND GOT THE WORK DONE THE SAME DAY THEY PROMISED. I LOVE MY NEW FLOOR.
