Once again Vinnie Marone came through for us. His crew opened our pool earlier this week and detected a problem with the filter pump. Vinnie was on it within an hour and managed to repair the pump and some surrounding leaks. It would have been easier for him to just throw on a new pump ( I think many others would have just done that) , but besides a hefty bill for replacement, we also would have those other leaks that were keeping the pump from being efficient. Good service and every effort to help the pool owner!

IT COULDN'T HAVE BEEN ANY SMOOTHER. THEY CAME AND MEASURED FOR THE COVER. WHEN THE COVER WAS RECIEVED FROM THE FACTORY THEY CAME CLOSED MY POOL AND INSTALLED THE COVER. VERY SATISFIED.

Have been using A+ for three years now. They opened the pool two weeks ago and, as always, were professional, courteous and efficient. Our pool has a cleaning system in the bottom and Vinnie has it working better than it had in years.

I wish I had received the same good service as others on this site. I called Vinnie last fall, and we agreed on a price for a pool liner replacement this spring. I asked to leave a deposit to schedule, and he said sure, but he never stopped by or mailed the contract. I called him again this March, and we scheduled the pool liner replacement. I was told I would be one of his first 5 jobs this spring. He came out to measure and left the pool cover off, bunched up on the side in my yard. I was scheduled for the last week in April, but he has not returned after measuring the job. It is May13th, and I am not getting an answer to my texts or calls. So I have a pool open to the elements and no indication if or when my liner will be replaced. I am glad others had good service from A+, but mine could not have been worse.

The liner in my in ground pool was coming away from the side in an area of about 2 ft. I called the pool company I was using at the time and the office lady kept telling me my liner was old. They wouldn't even come look at it. I was also waiting with that company for almost 2 months for a part they were supposed to be getting for my cleaning system. When I called Vinnie he was able to repair the sagging part of the liner and directed me to Amazon fpr the part the other company couldn't get for almost 2 months. Amazon had it here in two days and Vinnie was able to install it properly. A+ is our new pool service.

We came home from vacation to find my pool filter not working. Sunday morning (around 8) we put a note on home advisor. Vinnie called me back within minutes. He was over the house quickly and fixed the problem within minutes. Friendly and professional. I would recommend A+ Lawns & Pools.

I would like to recommend A+ Lawns and Pools to anyone in their service area, based on my 3 years of experience with them. I met owner Vinnie and lead service technician Ivan while trying to correct a problem another company refused to deal with while installing a new liner and replacing the surrounding concrete deck. Even though the problem was not created by them and I was not (at that time) an existing Customer, they treated me like one and fixed the problem. Because of their "hunger for my business" (unlike the apathetic company which replaced my liner and decking and told me the electrical junction box protruding from the middle of the decking was MY problem), I have used A+ ever since to find a leak, open and close my pool, and this spring, to install a copper ionization system to help filter my water without smelly and corrosive chlorine dosing. Though I'm only a few days into using the new system, my water is already crystal clear. Though they are not perfect, to me what distinguishes Vinnie and Ivan from the other pool companies I have come in contact with during my 25-plus years of being a pool owner is their experience, integrity best-in-class service and hustle. I trust them implicitly.

Great work!! We moved into a new home, and any time we had any questions or needed some work done Vinny was there the same day to help, and fix the problems we were having.

We had just moved to West Long Branch and called Vinny to come and take a look at our pool. For every question and issue we had, Vinny had a solution for. His workmanship is one of the best I've seen and would recommend him to anyone.

Vinny and his assistant ("sidekick") Ivan were amazing. He arrived the same day to evaluate my issue (a clogged skimmer line) and came prepared to work. He noticed how stressed I was in anticipation of a massive repair and $$$ so he never gave up. He tried every single option he could until he was able to remedy my issue. I will never go anywhere else. He also didn't charge me an astronomical fee even though he was here for almost 3 hours!! He is my guy from now on! Sorry Leslie Pool's you lost a customer, I'm staying with Vinny!

Found Vinnie through homeadvisors, and booked an appointment. Homeadvisors even called me to confirm the appointment. Vinnie did not show up at the appointed time, so, a few hours later, I called him to find out what was up. Turns out, Homeadvisor did not tell him he had an appointment, but here's the good part: He emailed me that night to connect, and asked me to call him in the morning, which I did. He came to my house within minutes and solved my problem with the chlorine generator controller, then voluntarily hauled 160 pounds of salt from my car to the pool and dumped one bag. Left me with instructions about dumping the remaining bags when the system "acclimatized." This is service. A+
