"We appreciate your business. Thank you for your service (removed member name). Return safe. T"
Left paint drippings on tile floors and furniture. Changed schedule minute causing inconvenience. Show special for 3 rooms
which is not accurate."Thank you for your review [Member name removed]. We apologize for delivering to you a less than great experience. We have had it happen before where some paint can get away from us in spite of efforts to contain it. We can come back and clean up any paint spots. The quicker it is cleaned up the better. It will take a couple weeks for the paint to cure 100%, so if you get to it before that two weeks time then it will chip off more easily. Let us know and we will take care of it. As far as the scheduling goes when the job was scheduled we tried to explain that our painter had an appointment that he could not move. It was a doctors appointment and we did not know exactly how that was going to effect the project schedule. At that time we tried to give you how things would lay out at best of our knowledge at the time. We should have done a better job of communicating with you on that. As far as the store front offer is concerned, there are so many variables that go into a painting project, coats applied, surface preparation, furniture to move and protect, ceiling height, many things that you can not figure sight unseen. I agree with you. I am not a big fan of the specials coupon since we have to put so much into a disclaimer that it seems like a bait and switch. Our industry is still trying to figure the best way to make these offers and have a customer not pay too little or too much. The bottom line is that there is nothing more important then what our customers think of us. If there is anything we can do please let us know. We will follow up with you by phone as well. Hopefully we can turn this around so that you would at least consider us again. Again we apologize for not meeting and exceeding your expectations."
"Thank you for the positive review... I don't know if it is possible to change from your side but the project cost was $1,500.00 - I am seeing $15,000.00 I don't want to frighten people away : ) Thank you again for your business and we look forward to working with you again in the future."
"I am very sorry you feel this way. We do insurance work all the time with no issues. However, we did not feel comfortable performing the work or providing you a revised quote under the parameters you laid out - You asked us to provide you with an increased quote over and above what I had originally quoted so you could provide that to your insurance company. This gave us reason for concerned and in the nicest way possible we tried to tell you a couple times that we did not want to do that. You me be perfectly fine in your legal standing, but it did not want to take a chance. Please understand that this is our family owned business and our only source of income; while we do need all the business we can get we do not want to risk our companies future for one project. As I said, it may be perfectly fine to do this the way you requested but I don't want either of us to find out that we were wrong. It is upsetting that you would post this review in order to do nothing more than bring down my rating with Angie's List when all we were doing is showing a legitimate concern for what appears to be a questionable business practice. I am sorry again that we could not make you happy."
"Thank you. We appreciate the update."
"This project was replacing water damaged sheet rock with a new piece of sheet rock to tape, spackle, and fiinish that area along with a smaller damaged area near the Dining area and then repaint the Ceilings as they are connected in the Kitchen, Family Room, Living Room and Dining area. You are correct - you should had spoken to the owner. I had not been contacted after the intial completion of the project so was unaware that the drywall patch was still an issue. We imeadiately responded when we were told that they could see the patch in the kitchen. We would have addressed it again if needed. We have done a lot of this type of work and they often take a couple trips to float out the area with drywall compound to get things just right. In looking back we could have done things a little differently and more clearly explained the process and potential for having to return. I was wondering if the other contractor had to replace the patch we intalled or was able to fix the problem with drywall compound? Knowing that will help me to understand what the ultimate problem was...just for future reference. We are sorry that things did not go perfectly on your project. We do stand behind our work and would have repaired the situation had I known."
