"Hi [Member Name], We did nothing wrong. Back in January we were asked by Angies List to run a special called “A Big Deal” to install Kohler/Sterling Toilets for $199.00 and we only received 2 calls for this offer. We called both Customers the same day and did the work as advertised and even added a new Supply Valve to one of them at no additional cost. This Special was only good for January and we did not renew that Special as Angies List bills collects the $199.00 and keeps most of that money and we only received $49.75 which was too much of a loss for us to keep taking as we were losing over $300.00 per Toilet Installation. We never received an email or phone when you bought this “Big Deal” and since we did not renew it we did not even have a reason to check our Angies List account to see if anyone had purchased it. We were very surprised when we saw that you had Purchased a $199.00 Toilet Special as that Deal had long Expired back on January 31, 2014. We notified you immediately to explain all this and asked how we can help you. You never responded, and today we saw that you gave us an “F” Rating for work we never did, was never asked to do, and for a Toilet Special that had expired the end of January. If anyone deserves an “F” if would have to be “Angies List” for running an unauthorized advertisement. Angies List ran this Special without our Knowledge and if they accepted your payment, you need to contact Angies List and ask for your money back. If you are still in need a new toilet or any other Plumbing Work all you have to do is call and we will take care of it for you. Most times we will do you’re project the same day. We are currently Celebrating our 55th Anniversary in Business and are having Specials all year long on Plumbing-Heating-Cooling & Construction. You can check our website to view any current Specials. "Hi (removed member name), I think you misunderstood what you heard the men saying. They are very good as you know and you even tipped them for the great work they did. These guys like to joke around and are fun to talk to. We have a lot of Customers who ask for them. If there was an issue with the work they did I would reprimand them and come right to your home and address the situation with you. This is not what happened, All they did while talking to each other was say "Make sure you do this right or "Angie will not be happy" as they were referring to Angie, the Owner of Angies List. It was just the Guys talking to each other while they are doing the work they are very good at and they Love to do, Plumbing. I would much rather have a Plumbing Service Team at my house who enjoy their work than a couple Plumbers who are Miserable and yell at each other, Wouldn’t you? "Really appreciate the great review. I believe the survey questionnaire was asking if you thought we were expensive as you gave us a C on Price. I think your answer was based on the price of the Water Heater which is high priced due to its technology. We wish the water heaters were half the price as they would be easier to sell. The money saved on utility bills will pay for it very quickly and the quality is the best. With proper care like flushing with Vinegar it should easily last 25 to 35 years. We find that Intelligent and well educated consumers like you who take time to research what they are buying are the ones who we deal with most often. We stride to get all "A"s on our reports.
