Very poorly. Worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. .Plumbing & HVAC work was good. Concrete and construction work was poor. Hired in early Nov,2013 because He promised to raise house in Dec and be completely finished by 2/28/2014. He promised a stress free experience but it was the most stressful experience I have ever had with a contractor. He did not complete all of the work specified in the contract. He kept suggesting changes that did not make sense. Exorbitant charges for work not covered in contract. For example: $3800. for underground electric which was done by Atlantic City Electric for $1600. Damage was caused to existing concrete because simple precautions were not taken to protect it. He kept promising to finish job but demanded money in advance. We tried our best to work things out with him and on 6/28/2014, my wife spoke to him and confirmed the conversation by email. He promised to make every effort to have decks completed by 7/04/2014. Instead, on 7/04/2014 he sent a change order demanding $11197. which I said was unacceptable and refused to sign. On 7/07/2014, I contacted my attorney who sent him a termination letter on 7/08/2014. No work had been performed since 6/10.2014. He received the letter on 7/11/2024 and continued to send me threathening emails until 7/17/2014. No work had been performed since 6/10/2014. I hired another contractor who finished the job in 3 1/2 days with much superior workmanship on 7/25/2014.
Upon applying for the elevation certificate, we found that the air conditioning units had not been raised to the correct height and the platform had to be rebuilt. Also we discovered the main beam was not replaced as specified in the plans.
It was a huge mistake to hire to hire this contractor and I have a large file of broken promises, overcharges and poor workmanship.

"Really appreciate the great review. I believe the survey questionnaire was asking if you thought we were expensive as you gave us a C on Price. I think your answer was based on the price of the Water Heater which is high priced due to its technology. We wish the water heaters were half the price as they would be easier to sell. The money saved on utility bills will pay for it very quickly and the quality is the best. With proper care like flushing with Vinegar it should easily last 25 to 35 years. We find that Intelligent and well educated consumers like you who take time to research what they are buying are the ones who we deal with most often. We stride to get all "A"s on our reports.
