Ron Abrahamsen's estimate was not the lowest we got, but we were very impressed with how he listened to us and understood our needs, so we gave him the job and never had a minute's regret. Work was started on the date promised, and completed a bit sooner than expected. His workers were skilled, professional, respectful and pleasant. The sub-contractors he hired had the same qualities. A construction project is never fun, but getting to know these craftsmen and seeing the beautiful finished result made the dust and disruption well worth it. We would use Ron again for a future project in a heartbeat.

Very well. While maybe unusual, both we and the contractor had several prior travel commitments, so total elapsed time was longer than some might find acceptable but it worked well for us. (Elapsed time also included scheduling sub-contractors for flooring and carpet installation. Did my own plumbing hook-up.)

Ron and crew are very professional, trustworthy, and easy to work with. They kept as close to schedule as possible and were all very happy to take the time to answer any questions that I had. We lived in the house and I worked from home throughout the construction process and they always made sure to be neat and respectful. Ron was great with supervising the project - he was always sure to let me know what was going on, when to expect subcontractors (subcontractors used were all very professional as well) and was always available by phone when not on site (though he usually was onsite). But most importantly, the quality of work and craftsmanship was excellent, right down to the specialized finished carpentry projects I asked for. They clearly take pride in their work and it really shows in all the details. We are already planning to have them come back to do our kitchen soon!

Work was completed in one and one-half days as estimated. Workmanship was outstanding in its craftsmanship and neatness. Ron Abrahamsen discovered additional rot in wood on front porch; and he had it replaced at no charge beyond his original quote for the job, which did not include that additional work.

Our house is over 100 years old and our kitchen was vintage 1960's and badly in need of repair.  The house looks kind of like various previous owners got some buddies together to do construction projects over a keg of beer.  There were many problems with previous construction jobs that were done in the house but the main one was that a supporting beam for the second floor was cut out in out in order to make an opening for the add-on kitchen that they built!!  This is something that was not at all visible until Ron began to tear out the old kitchen. We all were amazed that the second floor never collapsed.  Ron and Billy did such an excellent job of reinforcing what was there that the building inspector did not require us to hire an engineer.   We have beautiful new cabinets and countertops and additional storage space with an added closet.
Ron and Billy also added a second bathroom, a master bathroom.  It has been such a blessing to wake up in the middle of the night and use the bathroom without having to go through the house.  We had absolutely no problem leaving these guys in the house without us being home.  Trust them completely.  Ron has done a number of jobs for me and probably will do many more.  I would hire him again in a heartbeat. He does great work.

He is a friend of mine, but he did excellent work. His name is Ron Abrahamsen. He is very honest and careful to do a good job with quality. I know it was a very good price. I know it was a much better price than I could get anywhere else. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

The work was being done in advance of selling our home. From the day I walked Al though the house to show him what we needed to the last day of the job, Al was in charge. His estimates were precise, the cabinet and stone companies he used were excellent and his workers were on time and respectful of our home. Since the kitchen update was a big part of our job, Al was considerate of our timing and started the work right after Thanksgiving and ended before Christmas. We were able to host both holidays in our home. But, this is the most amazing thing about Al, he is an honest craftsman. Our job totaled a little more than $20,000 and there were a lot steps, vendors and materials. We paid Al according to the schedule he gave us and at the end of the job he told me we had over paid him by just over $600. I would never have known that and it would have been so easy for Al to simply keep the money. But, he didn't. How often do you find that kind of character anymore?

He had a sub contractor come by to fix the roof, which I was not expecting. However, he was very professional in his work and did an excellent job. A couple days later, Ron came back to inspect the job and made sure I was happy with the service. It was also the lowest bid I received.

After a huge  tree hit my home during Hurricane Irene, I interviewed and/or met with at least 6 contractors.  They were all late, over priced and many unprofessional.  I decided to go with Ron Abrahamsen and Sons.  He and his workers  were very professional, honest, punctual and the craftsmanship of the work was impeccable.  I have referred him to 2 other people for renovation work in their homes.

Called Al, he came and gave and estimate, he wrote up a contract.  We needed some wood replaced before starting.  He couldn't start as soon as he wanted because of all the rain.  He gave me an time estimate of about a week.  His guys were fast, neat, and good workers.  The cleanup was great.  The job finished early.  They found some rotted plywood and replace at reasonable cost.  There have been no leaks.

Overall, from start to finish, Ron communicated all work to me and there were no surprises. He and I never met during the couple of days he took to estimate and complete the job, but afterwards he made a special trip to our house to introduce himself. I consider him a true professional and will definitely use his services in the future if need be.

We had an estimate done and agreed to it, but the town changed the plan. There was now a new code for building on the property. Our new garage needed to be 5 feet from the property line and the old one was not. Because of that, new cement work had to be done so it became more expensive. The old garage and cement foundation had to be removed in order to relocate and build the new garage. A survey had to be done as well. When that was all settled the workers came, tore down the old garage, dug up all the old cement and a lot of dirt, and built me a beautiful new garage. I am very happy with my new garage and I feel I was blessed to have such kind and thoughtful men doing the job for me. I don't think I could have found anyone better. I would definitely recommend this company to all and anyone needing their kind of services. I even took pictures of the whole procedure as the work was being done. God bless these people. They were wonderful.

after Ron came to our house and gave us a free estimate it was a couple of weeks before the work was done. It was done quickly and proffessionally and it looks great. I did not shop for prices but I believe it was a decent, fair and good price. In my opinion, the quality of the workmanship was tops, he was friendly and honest. I would trust him to do any work for me.
