Target Home Inspection

We used Target when we bought our first home, they were okay and did the job. We are in the process of purchasing our new home and we called two weeks in advanced explained that we were in a contract with a bank owned property and had ten business days to complete a home inspections. They assured us someone would be out and have the report for us the next day. We received a call the day before our inspection to confirm our scheduled appointment. Now the day of our home inspection scheduled for 1 p.m. we get a call at 11:15 a.m. to tell us that the inspector had a family emergency and we would need to cancel for today. They wanted to reschedule for following weekend. I explained to them that we are in a contract with a bank and we are only allowed 10 days from the date we signed the contract to have an inspection done. They didn't care, after crying and pleading to them they wouldn't take another inspector off another job and reschedule someone else who wasn't in a legal contract with a deadline. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. They are extremely unreliable, unaccommodating, not trust worthy and just flat out rude. They are supposed to be running a company were the customer can feel like they can put 100% of their trust in them to inspect their home and make sure they are honest and reliable, and after my experience they have completely shattered that trust. I would not recommend this company to anyone, especially someone who is working on a deadline. They are unable to keep their obligation and promise to a customer.

Tim performed a very thorough home inspection on a house we are in the process of purchasing. He explained everything and answered all of our questions along the way. He also provided a detailed inspection report with pictures in a timely matter. Thanks to his inspection, we were able to amend our offer and save thousands of dollars. I contacted multiple inspectors and his price was competitive. We would definitely recommend him to anyone and would use him in the future!

Provider arrived slightly early, was very friendly and professional, and allowed me to accompany him through entire inspection, answering my many questions. If I noticed anything I wanted included in the report, he made a detailed note, and that item did appear in the final report.

Final report was delivered quickly, was comprehensive, and in a format easy to read. It had significant useful information in it. Radon report delivered quickly as well.

One issue that kept this from being an and quot;Aand quot; rating across the board was that the inspector found a potential structural issue but couldn't really quantify the impact, requiring a more extensive inspection by another firm, requiring additional expense.

The inspection was the best I have ever seen. I have bought and sold 8 houses over the past 10 years. The inspector was Tim Vigures. He was outstanding and incredibly thorough. No only did he inspect every nook and cranny of the house, he performed an exhaustive check of every door, window, outlet, etc. Furthermore, he clearly found a number of items the seller hadn't detected on his own buyer's home inspection 7 years earlier.
I highly recommend Target Home Inspection and Tim Vigures. He was professional, easy to work with, and clearly highly qualified. I spent the majority of our 5 hours asking him questions and getting detailed information on the nuances of an older home.

They were outstanding, professional and thorough. Their reports are very comprehensive and full color with clear explanations. They give recommendations of what to do. You can dialog with them for clarity.
