Stay away from this inspector. He has no license and missed critical defects in the home. Mr. McKinney completed a home inspection and was quite personable during the inspection. He pointed out numerous issues some major, some minor. After I purchased the house contacted masons for estimates to have the brick repointed. One of the masons asked if I was aware that there was a bulge in the brick facade of the home. It turns out there was a 2 inch bulge which needed to be addressed ($3,300 for starbolts) which Mr. McKinney failed to identify. In addition, two windows in the bedroom had been screwed shut which Mr. McKinney failed to identify. Mr. McKinney was unresponsive to my numerous requests to resolve these issues and I found out he was unlicensed at the time of the inspection (a requirement in NJ and Philadelphia) even though his card and website include license numbers. He also lacked insurance at the time of inspection and refused to provide me any insurance information when requested.
