My experience with this company was totally unlike the rave reviews on Angie's List. The material supplied failed within a few months. I complained and sent pictures of the problem. They were very slow to respond and never made any serious effort to deal with the problem. I asked them to remove the defective material because it was trapping water. They never got the job done, quit after making a half baked effort and even left their tools at the job site. I hired another company to remove the defective material and asked for a refund of my costs. They agreed but have never made any payment after promising to do so. They ignore emails and never return phone calls.

I called the office & heard back from Bill in short order. His inspection matched up with my diagnosis. (He has taught me well.) A date was set for the work to be done. The men arrived on time & the job was completed quickly. All of my experiences with National American have been first rate. Even though this was a small job, the response & work was completed in a timely manner.

Bill Hoffman and his crew did and very good job. He was very prompt in his responses. Gave a very fair estimate as I had compared with other folks. He was not pressuring us to get the job done. Was courteous timely. We got the French all around the basement with sump pump. The only issue is the noise is very loud when they do the work.

Bill arrived on time, gave a verbal & f/u with a written cost of the job.
His staff arrived close to the appointed time.
They were friendly, courteous.
I am very pleased with the final outcome...2 new, clean looking window wells.
I am so thankful to have Bill provide quality work on my house.

After nearly one month and a dozen different people from gutters to window wells to basement waterproofing
telling me all kinds of stuff.....
the last man was the BEST.
Like many others, I was experiencing water in my basement after the flood like rains we have had.
Bill Hoffman arrived, thoughtfully listened to my story and looked around my basement and outside.
He not only explained but, demonstrated what my problem was!!!!
He offered me options in a thorough e mail that I received 2 weekend days later.
The job was completed shortly thereafter by Bill's men who were friendly, helpful, clean and professional.
Bill appeared on site several times..closely supervising the progress.
I am sooooo thankful that I found Bill and will be back in touch with him
if I have any problems needing an expert evaluation.
I've had no more water in my basement.

I had several companies give me estimates for a partial french drain in my basement, and ultimately decided to go with American Waterproofing. Their price was very fair, and Bill Hoffman, who came out to give me the estimate, was extremely professional and answered all my questions. They performed the work in one day, and cleaned up everything before they left. I would definitely use them again for any additional waterproofing work.

I actually hired them to fix the waterproofing job that a different company I hired messed up. They tried very hard to make sure everything was accurate and done right. They fixed everything and I was very happy with the work. I haven't had any problems. They cleaned up well after they were done.
