They show up on Fridays and cut my grass every other week.  They cut and edge and I am satisfied with them.  When ever I had to have phone contact with  the office got back promptly.  I have used them for several years now.

Unfortunately we never knew when they were going to show up, they did not return phone calls and would not provide estimates for additional work when repeatedly requested.  Several cuts were also done improperly, for example, forgetting to edge the sides of the house and back yard.  We may have been able to work something out with them but they did not return our calls until we put in a notice to cancel.

It went well as we had thought. The cutting is satisfactory but the weeding is not as good as I would like but it's better than not having someone do it.

They charge separately for every service. They cleanup everything nice and neat. If we have a suggestion, they always appreciate it. We feel comfortable talking to them and saying we want this done in a different way. They always do whatever we ask.

Overall they're very professional.  The lawn service was good.  They fell short when it came to taking care of and weeding the flower beds.  Other than that they do a good job.  The pricing was good.

I've been very pleased with the quality of service. There are things that my old service did as part of the routine that apparently Horning does not -- more "a la carte" in terms of their fees, though that lets you pick and choose what you are willing to pay for.

He was very personable when we interviewed him. The office mgr. called and thanked us hiring them for the season which I thought was very good. They told us Thursday was our assigned day. They came once and cut the lawn about 7:30 p.m. and rushed through it. It was not a good job. They were hired to come weekly. They did not come back so 2 weeks later I called and they said they were sorry and they would be out asap. They came and did the same bad job. They never showed up for another 2 weeks. I called and discontinued the service. No apology, no nothing. They are very bad business people.

Their price is good. They are very personable. They do quality work. They have a wide variety of services that they provide. They didn't do one minor thing right once and they told me that they will do it correctly the next time onwards. They come out every Thursday and it doesn't matter to me at what time they come out.

It couldn't have been better! I called Weds AM to get an estimate; one of their consultants was in the area and drove to our house to check things out. He called me back promptly with a verbal estimate and left a written estimate at the house. I faxed it back Thurs AM and they came on Friday. They did a good job and were very responsive - returned calls promptly, etc. Pricing was also a little less than I expected ($35/week for routine mowing; our lot is just under 1/4 acre). I would definitely use them again for landscaping projects.

They are very reliable, coming when they say they will. They do what they say they are going to do, and clean up after the job is complete not leaving anything behind. They are good about calling if they need to reschedule the appointment.

I looked on Angie's List and took four different bids and estimates on the type of service we wanted done. Horning was one who got a hold of us right away after we called them. They came and show up on time. They got the job done very quickly. So far, the services we hired them for seem fine. However, my husband felt they should have put down more seed. Also, even though they got back to us right away, I wish they would have communicated more with us. Otherwise, it was a good experience, but I felt it could have been a bit better.

This company is very honest and they always come when they say that they will be here. Their rates are reasonable and they do what they promise to do. I am not sure if they are insured or not.
