Royal Duct Cleaning LLC

Called Royal Duct Cleaning on Tuesday to schedule an appointment. I was told that they would come the next day, Wednesday at 4pm for the appointment. Waited till 4pm and they didn't show up. When I call on Tuesday, they declined the call. I don't mind that they didn't show up or anything, but I would have at least liked a text message saying couldn't make it or something alone those lines.

Royal Duct Cleaning wasn't the name they contractor gave me. He came promptly, gave a price, which we agreed on, said he'd return to do the work later in the week. I never heard from him again. That was more than two weeks ago. Your product "Angies List" seems to be a sham?

Price agreed was price paid. We agreed to add on furnace cleaning, but as I had over 15 vents, there was no issue on the agreed. The add on for furnace was reasonable. I was very happy with punctuality and offerred to come earlier. Dryer vent clean was included. I would definitely hire them again.

They were very hard to get ahold and they did not show up the first day they were supposed to and didn't respond to any of my calls or texts. They showed up the next day but they were late and also didn't respond until I called or texted them many times. They didn't do what they said they were going to do, I had to stay on top of them to make sure things were done correctly and they still did a horrible job. I actually found that the bathroom vent was broken and glued back together after I left. I could also tell that they didn't do amy work at all in one room they were supposed to do because no furniture was moved in the room and piles of dust were clearly visible in the ducts still. The entire reason for having my ducts cleaned was for the health of my child, and since they did not remove the dust at all their service was effectively useless and i fell as if my money was completely wasted.

I have used Angie List in the past and have always had very positive results. This is the first time that I had have had such a negative poor experience with a contractor that I would highly recommend not to use him or his services. I originally chose Royal Duct Cleaning Service, because of their rating and the fact that they were offering a special of $69.00 for the dryer vent cleaning. I purchased the coupon special and called to make an appointment. Jerry returned my call in a prompt time frame. he was courteous and professional on the phone ( all good). We made an appointment for him to do the work, to clean the dryer vent and duct work at a rental property that I have. I made arrangement with the tenants. The night before that appointment, Jerry called and told me that he had to rescheduled. Still OK, things happen. We rescheduled the appointment and I made arrangements with my tenants. Royal Duct Cleaning does not show for the reschedule appointment. For a week he does not return my text messages or phone calls, when I finally get hold of him, to find out what happen, why the no show, I get two different stories. But he tells me that he can get there by 6 PM that night. I call my Tenant to let them know. Royal Duct doesn't show up until 8:30pm (2 1/2 hrs late), and they left about 10 mins. later (according to my Tenant). The Job was not good and not complete (Posted a picture of the dryer vent) a day later there was lint hanging out of the outside vent. According to Jerry, Royal Duct Cleaning JUST brushes the inside of the duct work to loosen the lint, but doesn't Vacuum the duct work, it wasn't worth bringing the vacuum truck for a $69.00 dollar job. I reminded him that it was a $99 dollar job, but he was running a special. My Tenant had sent me a picture of the outside duct cover, which showed lint struck in the slats of the cover. I forwarded this picture on to Jerry. When he received the picture, he told me that he would have his crew go over and remove the lint from the cover that afternoon, by 6:25 pm, no one had showed. At 7:05 pm, he told me that he had been there with his team. tenant told me that nobody had come by. Jerry told me, that due to the large amount of lint, he would rectify the situation he would come back to do the whole job again, and would I make arrangement with my tenant. I did for 8 am as he requested. Royal Duct Cleaning never showed. I brought the Coupon on July 20th, they first went out to the house on Aug. 8th, it in now August 16th. Almost a month for this foolishness. My advise, don't waste your time, energy and money with Royal Duct Cleaning LLC. Jerry's a good talker, but the $69.00 dollar special is not worth your time and aggravation, go with someone else. I wish that I did.

I claimed a deal with this vendor. $69 to clean dryer vent. He called me and we set up a time which was Saturday morning 7/28/18. He did not show up at the agreed upon time. I called him. No answer on phone. I sent him a text thru Angies list asking him "Where are you". No answer received yet. Then I looked at his page on Angie's list and noticed that he had discontinued the deal that we agreed to after I had claimed it. I recommend that he be thrown off Angie's list. I would never use him again for anything.
